We were in town staying at the Fairfield Inn on 32nd. I tried to look up breakfast restaurants but at 5-5:30am only the donut... shops were open. I don't really care for donuts but we needed coffee. First we tried to stop at Paradise Donuts because it wascloser but they must've been running behind schedule bc it wasn't open. I had read a review on Chandler Rd Donuts that said itwas the best in town so we decided to give it a try. It is 100% worth driving across town for this place!! The coffee isEXCELLENT! It is the sunrise blend by Henderson Coffee, a local Muskogee coffee roaster. (Yes, it was so good we had to ask!) And the maple bacon donut was a tantalizing tastebud delight!! The other pastries we tried were good, but not special enough towrite a review about, in my opinion. I'm slightly ashamed of my dietary choices but I'll fess up... we went to Chandler RdDonuts for the coffee and a maple bacon donut all 3 mornings we were in town. I don't normally drink coffee or eat donuts butapparently in Muskogee, I do both. Read more
