Momma C's is some of the best soul food in Oklahoma. don't think twice about coming here. they're known for their amazing fried... chicken, but all the sides are great as well. The food was beyond amazing. The chicken was some of the best I have ever had - fried to crispy perfection. The yams were... delicious and the greens were prepared with perfect seasoning. Absolutely fantastic. HOME COOKING done correctly. Open kitchen and you can see exactly what is going on with your food if that... is your deal. Waitresses are very attentive and did i mention the FOOD? Oh my the food...They have a set menu and also a coupleof daily specials. They will grill of fry your entree . Momma C's Soul Food Kitchen is AMAZING!!!!! I visited on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. The place is quaint and just the... right size for a small or medium sized breakfast, lunch or dinner. Groups are welcome and we'll accommodated. The servings arenot skimpy. In fact, I took 1 and half pieces of the catfish & some of the baked beans home with me. The prices are veryreasonable as well. The staff is friendly & the atmosphere is comfortable. I got catfish baked beans, & mac and cheese. At thesame table was catfish, greens & yams. The soul is definitely accounted for in each main course & side dish. Also available areCasandra Gaines cookbooks & cds. There are butters, spreads, & preserves also! This place is an absolute treasure to & for theMuskogee community.
