We heard the onions are really good at McCools but the onion rings were not cooked/undercooked. We informed the server and she... took them away but never served anything fresh nor removed it from our bill. We just ended up paying. Not satisfied with thefood nor the customer service. Read more
Service was a little slow but I think it was because of the server. Food is great and reasonably priced. If you get a chance... sit outside and check out the fun creatures on the patio and in the trees that are hidden. it's great for kids too. Read more
Got seated immediately & server greeted us promptly. My husband ordered fish & chips. Fish was fried perfect & was fork fluffy.... Chips were homemade potato chips. Cooked to order. Delicious. Cole slaw was OK. I ordered the shrimp & pasta served in a creamsauce topped with tomatoes. The sauce is a thick cream sauce, not Alfredo. Very tasty. Kitchen took about 25 minutes for ourfood. First time trying Finn McCools. It was very chill local vibe with a lively bar and great Food. Loved the fried mushrooms! I only came here because someone else left a review of some amazing looking onion rings? DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We had the... trolley rings 10/10 I also had the fried shrimp and flounder 10/10!!!! Nice Irish Pub with good seating inside and an outside deck as well. The Guiness beer I had was cold, the Ruben was good but... not the biggest I've ever had. Tried their fresh made, in house chips, they were very tasty. Our server Michelle was great andthe other staff were very friendly. Let's start with the good. Both our sandwiches were excellent, we didn't have to wait to be seated and the staff was friendly. ... Now to the bad. We ordered an appetizer which never came, our waitress never came back to check on us, the wait for the foodwas exceptionally long and they rounded the check UP. Rounding the check up just cost the waitress money out of her tip. It'sa nice place, and as I mention the food was good, but there are better options available in Myrtle Beach. If they could cleanup their service issues this place could be great. I think the servers are willing, but no one is teaching them how to do theirjobs correctly. Read more
