Honestly not worth the money at all. Me and my family when there for vacation and we went late but most of the food was cold and... either out of and they had to make it which took over 30 mins for them to make the steak by that time we was full. They willcome around and take your picture then try to sell you those same pictures for the price those should be included. I throw thefood up in the parking lot that's something I never do got sick after words but I don't believe it has anything to do with thefood. We were here last evening, and it was completely disgusting. We witnessed the kitchen staff prepare numerous items with their... bare hands (no gloves). One such example was the shrimp. The quality is also extremely poor, and the restaurant is very dirty. Please visit Crabby Georges, or Captain George's for a superior experience. Based upon what our party of four endured, thisplace will be closed very soon. I also find it very interesting that the establishment has an A rating from DHEC, and they needto reinspect ASAP! We were here on vacation looking for fresh crab legs and thought this was the place. We mainly ate the crab and lobster legs and... had a few issues with black spots throughout and didn?t eat those. 95% of the other food was fried and old. While I was upgetting more food the cooks screamed in the kitchen claiming there was a rat. My sister was also getting food and saw a squirrelsized rat climbing up the kitchen wall. After informing the staff they gave us a free meal obviously but wanted us to be hushhush so their larger tables would still pay them AFTER KNOWING THERE WAS A RAT IN THE KITCHEN. If I could rate this a 0/10 Iwould. Disgusting. Please save your money and eat elsewhere. All of the most current reviews all say the same things a waste ofmoney!!! Read more

The quality of this restaurant has gone downhill sadly. We used to come here twice every time we vacationed in Myrtle. We?re... doubtful to come here next time we visit. 90% of everything is fried. Some of it is pretty good. Apparently they don?t dolobster anymore but okay. Our waiter was Jerry and he was exceptionally attentive. Some people in the reviews mentioned roaches.I personally didn?t see any nor did any of my family members. No bugs or anything that would stick out as ?dirty?. Goodexperience overall. Read more
I visited Hooks at the end of Oct while on holiday with my mother whom isn't in the best of health. Mom wanted crab legs. After... calling several other restaurants I called Hooks and spoke with Gary who was very knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly whichis why I choose Hooks for our order. I walked to the restaurant for take out. When I arrived, Gary met me at the door and helpedto pack the orders. While leaving, Hooks discovered I was walking and the manager insisted on driving me back to hotel. Not onlywas the food fabulous and plentiful but the service was far more than expected. Being a small business owner myself andunderstanding your customers keep you in business, the service we received at Hooks was completely next level????.
