The view, you can't beat! My husband ordered the barbecue chicken and mashed potatoes. He really liked it. I ordered the fish... tacos and it came with fries. I was very disappointed with the tacos as it was mostly cole slaw with very little fish. The slawalso had way too much sauce and was very messy. What little fish I was able to taste was good. I also ordered a mango daiquiri. It was not anything to brag about for the price, I just expected more. I read reviews before we went here and they were thereason I chose to have dinner here. We expected to have our pictures taken by Hollywood Photos and they did not disappoint. Theprice was reasonable and you are not required to buy them. The waitress was polite but seemed like she was very "unhappy" ormaybe her natural lack of personality for being a waitress. The gift shop employees were super nice and friendly. We bought ashirt and had to exchange it the next day because it was not a good fit. They made the exchange experience very easy. Read more

TOURIST REVIEW: We had a really great time at Pier 14. We got patio seating on the water and there was love music. For the... appetizer we chose the shark bites which were really tasty but lacked the seasoning I was expecting when they called it 'cajun'.For my meal I got the fantail shrimp sauteed. The best part of the dish was the mashed potatoes which I substituted for thefries. The shrimp was good but again lacked in flavor. I needed a lot more butter or something to call it great. Altogether, theexperience was really great and the food was satisfactory. Since it was a big bill for the two of us for two dinners and anappetizer, I was really expecting more pizazz with the actual food. Read more

The parking sucked but was the food good? After driving around for at least 15 minutes we finally settled for a $20 2 hour... parking spot that still required a 5 - 10 minute walk. It was scenic but still... Upon arrival we were seated within 10minutes. Drink orders placed. There is a fair amount of mixed drinks and beer. The usual sodas are also here. A member of ourparty ordered an appetizer, "Shark Bites", they aren't real shark meat, but they are very good. I ordered an entree of "PierTacos" and I got them in "shark bite" form. After a 20 minute wait or party of 10 received our food. The Tacos were very good.Very light fish flavor and a heavy coleslaw flavor, but they were very good. All in all, if I come back to Myrtle Beach you canbet I'll come back to Pier 14 for some food and mixed drinks. I would recommend them. There is a great Pier you can pay $1 towalk, and there is a gift shop on site. Parking sucks. Enjoy!! Staff: 4 stars Food: 4 stars Timeliness: 3 stars Cleanliness: 4stars Read more

Pier 14 is one of our most favorite places in Myrtle Beach and we stop there for lunch or dinner every year we visit! The food... is amazing and so is the view/atmosphere. This year however was our BEST experience yet! Thomas was our server and he literallymade our visit that much better. He is very attentive, polite, kind, just an all around amazing guy! I believe first impressionsare everything, Thomas is a genuinely great individual, with a huge heart, and he loves what he does. Hard worker, greatconversation, we will be back and request Thomas every time we visit! You should to because he makes the entire experiencegreater then you can imagine! Ask for Thomas ! Read more

Went on Memorial day around 1pm. They don't do reservations but luckily when we arrived they had a table for 11. Food was good.... Hubby got Shrimp Po Boy looked amazing. My daughter got ravioli. I got shrimp tacos with veggie of the day instead of fries. The"hush puppies" should be called what they are corn fritters. Great with the honey butter. I was hoping they were like the hushpuppies at red lobster back in the day. The shark bites were good. A little spicey with the seasoning for the kiddos. All in allit was good and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Great pier with an amazing view. Bathrooms were clean and wellstocked for a holiday....would definitely visit again. Read more

There was SO many good reviews on the place. I honestly should?ve looked at the menu before making my decision. To me, there is... not enough seafood variety. I was pretty bummed out about it. I rarely write bad reviews. But this place is sooo mediocre. Likethe food did not impress me. Everything food related was overall GOOD. Not amazing. I wouldn?t come here again. BUT DO NOTGET THE PASTA!!! The WORST. It?s my fault I didn?t tell the waiter that I did not like my food at all. I did not grow up thatway to complain. I feel like this should have been the dish to just tell the server it was disgusting. Ugly looking, they couldhave put more effort into this dish. Bread was disgusting. I was 100% disappointed. Service 10/10. The male server we had wasgreat. Read more

I gotta say, we had pretty low expectations coming into this place. We have tried a couple other pier restaurants and waterfront... restaurants and some of them trade the service and food for the great view. Not this place. Danielle was awesome. We justordered a couple appetizers and some soup. Let's start with the appetizers, the peel and eat shrimp were large and delicious. The hush puppies were in the top two best we've had so far, maybe even number one. And the best part, they have a couple veganoptions that aren't just boring salad, like a vegan burger and veggie soup. I had the soup and it was delish. Add to thedelicious food and great service the spectacular view and you really can't go wrong. There's also a little gift/souvenir shop onyour way to the pier. You do have to pay to get on the pier. It's only $1 and if you eat at the restaurant, they take it offyour bill which I thought was super cool. I could literally go on and on, you should just go check it out for yourself. Read more
