We have been in Myrtle Beach for 4 days now, 2nd time in Myrtle Beach overall... And this spot truly is the best place we have... been to across the board ( and we have been to some 10/10 places including crab legs, fried flounder/scallops, lobster etc.) Wecame in based on the reviews, but I do not think the reviews do this place any justice. I do not have a single bad thing to say.Service was quick and can't back frequently for refills and bring us another round of drinks, which were at the time happy hour$4 margaritas. Despite happy hour price, it was a regular sized drink and strong. Complementary chips and salsa was great. Wegot the paella and enchiladas, the rice that came with the enchiladas was so flavorful. The paella was cooked to perfection. 1minute over on squid and you'll be chewing for days, not this one. Literally melted in your mouth, the chorizo was delicious, would come back over and over for the paella, which was very reasonably priced for the amount of food, let alone seafood, in thedish. Vibes were also on point. Keep up the good work. Read more

We discovered this place on online and decided to go based on the positive reviews as well as the great daily specials. We... arrived late afternoon on a Tuesday. There was seating available inside the dining room as well as outside on the patio. Weopted for the AC! Our server promptly took our drink orders. He was very friendly and delivered top-notch service throughoutour visit. He worked with us to ensure our son's order was gluten-free. The food was delicious. I preferred the salsa to theguacamole. The rice and beans that came with our meals was so flavorful. When we paid the bill there was some confusion aboutthe pricing due to the Taco Tuesday special. However, our server promptly took care of it to our completesatisfaction. Therefore, I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and looking for great food and service! Read more

The food here is always pretty great. It's nice to sit outside when it's not horribly hot out there, but they do have fans that... keep you cool. The nachos supremo are one of my favorite items on their menu. You can never go wrong with their burritos either. They have live music sometimes that makes it a much more festive experience. The parking lot is always packed there, which tellsyou they have great food! Read more

Fresh, unique, and easy on the wallet with a lunch menu/daily specials. Has a Puerto Rican flair with Arroz con Gandules and... brown beans. We had fish tacos, Fajitas, & pork chops. Everything was good and portion size was more than adequate. FoodPreparation: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Value: 7/10 Read more

My new favorite restaurant! The menu is fabulous and the food is even better! The Shrimp and Crab Ceviche with Fried Plantains... was so yummy and fresh...and the Mahi Mahi Bowl was super tasty as well. Our server (Val) was excellent and checked on usfrequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The Grapefruit and Coconut Margarita was a perfect accompaniment to thelive music playing in the restaurant. Overall, an awesome experience. We will definitely be back again soon! Read more

I was not sure what to expect upon walking into Sol y Luna as I had driven by the day before and decided to come in not knowing... much about the menu, etc. My mom and I were quickly sat and checked out the menu. She quickly decided on their chicken burritoand I took a while but decided on their tacos with all beans. Our waitress showed up and took our orders. I decided for astarter to get some guacamole. That came out first and it was so good! Super smooth and just the right amount of thickness. Itpaired so well with the tacos and beans. I got one of their el pastor tacos and a fried avocado taco. The El pastor was full offlavor and super delicious--the pineapple popped! The fried avocado was not my jam, as the batter over took the taste of theavocado. Everything else was delicious though as the beans were hearty and flavorful! I love that the tacos came with a side ofmixed tomatoes and onions! So yummy! One star down for the greeter who was not the warmest or friendliest person. Ourwaitresses made up for this as they let us know upfront that they were running behind due to just having one server. It actuallywent quicker than we anticipated. Read more
