Best Italian food I?ve ever had, family owned restaurant everything is homemade even the pasta noodles. The owner comes to your... table and treats you like family. There is 3 generations working there. The owner has been in the business since he was 14yrsold. I went in with my son tonight for dinner. The food has always been very good and the place full of people. Not tonight and I now... know why. My boy ordered Penna with Marinara Sauce and I ordered Penna Vodka. The plates were the size of sides not entrees. Wewere charged $18.00 for my son?s dish and $22.00 for mine. Ordered Soda?s @ $3.50 each. We were brought the smallest bottle ofcoke you can buy. I asked if they did refills, they said no. I sent the bottled soda back. Then I get the check and 4.5% hasbeen added to the price of the meal to offset the cost of using a card. I don?t mind the card charge. I don?t like it, it shouldbe figured into the cost of the meal, but to give us the portions they did and charge the amount they did was just wrong. So, inshort, the food has always been good, the place has gone way up in price for a meal and the portions have gotten much smaller. Iwant everyone to succeed, but don?t turn a good business into a tourist trap. Even with the quality of the food, I don?t thinkat these prices the place will survive and that?s to bad.
