So as usual when we travel we always look for a place that has great burritos. My wife looked for the next place in Myrtle... Beach and she found a great one, she said it says the owner from San Diego CA, I myself originally from San Fran Bay Area andknow Cali is where the best burritos come from. We had a good feeling. So I normally don?t order steak as it?s so iffy to finda place that uses good quality tender steak, so often places have rough chewy steak so I go with chicken. But my gut told me gofor steak. So steak it was for me and my wife and daughter chose chicken. We added a order of chips and guacamole with 3drinks. The chips n guac were good, off to great start, then we got our burritos I noticed they were hefty, they were loaded! I took my first bite was like oh yeah think we got a winner here. After 2-3 more bites with good amounts of beef it was tendertasty and not chewy, It was very good, wife and daughter both nodded in agreement these were great burritos. Their pintostasted very much like home made, flavor was excellent. I couldn?t even finish I was full! After we were done eating I had tolet them know it is great to find a great burrito restaurant. Let them know I would be writing review as I was impressed andcouldn?t believe they were not packed with business. So for all those in the Myrtle beach area if you on vacation or live herego stop in and give Tu Taco a try. I want them to open their next location near me in Winston a salem NC area. Read more
So looking for Mexican food tonight we tried Tu Taco after reading mostly favorable review. The Tacos were good... Having... ordered Chicken and Steak tacos these tacos were plenty good. Each taco is assembled on 2 soft tortillas with just the rightstuff. The Tacos fine paired with chips and salsa which were also beer good. The Chicken burrito was probably the best I've everhad. A bit of rice and grilled chicken, pico and add to it a squirt of lime and then green mild and orange hot sauces and thiswas the best burrito ever. The restaurant also serves pineapple and hibiscus drinks which I hadn't sampled but they appeared tobe popular with the other diners. Usually after leaving a Mexican restaurant, seldom do I ever return but this littlerestaurant has it down and they're doing it right. Read more
What a wonderful hidden gem! My friend and I were looking for what to eat the other day, and stumbled upon Tu Taco. We both got... the California Burritos. They were absolutely ginormous, and might I add very delicious. The customer service is outstanding. Ihave told everyone I know to go try this burrito. Do? get the al pastor tacos, churros were delicous. Don?t get the corn or steak on anything. corn had a greenish tint like if... it was canned, not fresh. Saddened because traditionally it?s fresh. The steak was just okay. didn?t have any seasonings andwere dry. in comparison the al pastor was great. But when the claim is authentic street style. There was barely any meat on myasada fries. so meh, not sure if it?s worth the price finally, if you want a water cup? expect to pay for it. Read more
I LOVE this place! The owner (as well as all the staff) are so friendly! I never have to wait long for my order so it's super... convenient to hop in and grab some lunch or dinner for my son and I. I absolutely recommend one of their fruit waters.. thecantaloupe water is my favorite! Its not overly sweetened and it taste like taking a big juicy bite of cantaloupe! I need totry their barbacoa on my next visit! I also have to add that their prices are VERY reasonable so I never feel guilty of treatingmyself! I highly recommend this place if you want; a friendly experience, want to help support a local restaurant, and most ofall enjoy a quick service and DELICIOUS meal! Read more
