Used to eat here in the middle of the night all the time. For many years. Now they do takeout only, still virtue signaling for... COVID or maybe just too lazy to work using COVID as an excuse. Visited for breakfast this morning. I sat at the breakfast bar and was waited on by a lovely lady named Janet. Such a sweet... soul. The service was exceptional, my order arrived within 5 minutes was hot and fresh and perfect. Several of the otherwaitresses checked on me to see if I needed a refill on my coffee and the manager stopped by to ask how everything was. I wasliterally only in the store about 25 minutes. Waffle House I got a lot of love for y?all. But C?mon dude anybody below the Mason Dixon Line know for a fact this ain?t... ?Country Ham?. Stop playing with my emotions?. Now I ain?t taking nothing away from the staff there because every time Ivisited they always demonstrated superior professionalism. Forgot the cheese on my eggs and I still payed for it. The food was still good, however I like the other locations on 544 and... near the beach better. I had the 2 egg breakfast scrambled with cheese and the Texas toast bacon egg and cheese withhashbrowns. Both are my go to meals at every Waffle House. My tab was around $19.50 tip was already included, which is fine andstill gave extra. Read more
