Probably should have given this place one star, but because they only had one waitress working I'll be kind. They had a large... group they were trying to cater too and me and a buddy had to wait about 35 minutes for the waitress to come over to our table. She was embarrassed when the first thing we asked for was water (it was 104 degrees outside) and immediately went and got uswater. She took our order and over the next 45 minutes she came over twice (once to bring us our food and the next to bring usthe check) and apologized that she was so busy because of the large group she was covering, but I get it - Go where the moneyis, right? The food was disappointing at best. Hopefully the large group tipped her well enough to cover the tips and moneythey lost from other patrons who didn't tip because of poor service and ones who got tired of waiting and just left. Best restaurant in town! My hubby and I went here for date night and fell in love!
High prices and not as much food for your dollar. This place is close to our house and we've been there twice. Across the street... and down a couple blocks is a better. This restaurant tends to serve an older crowd who are loyal to this place simply becausethey are used to it. Many businesses have been affected by inflation and this one seems to take advantage of it. When I go outfor Mexican, I LOVE the refried beans and rice. Theirs was bland and the rice was dry. Service was decent and no complaintsthere, but once we received our food, a minute into it and we we disappointed. Read more

What great place! A short drive over a beautiful WPA bridge, the service is friendly and our chicken enchilada special was... delicious. It's quiet too which I really needed after being in the car for 5 hours. Read more
