My favorite Mystic restaurant. Enjoyed an early dinner here tonight. We love the fresh baked bread with olive oil and bean dip... that arrives before every meal. The angel hair pasta with shrimp was great. I started with a green salad that was very fresh, but the dressing was lacking. We also had the salmon with potatoes & Brussel sprouts, which was cooked just right anddelicious. Service is very good. Easy parking behind the restaurant and well located downtown near the Mystic River Bridge. Read more

The complimentary bread came out with a red pepper/white bean dip and was delicious. The food was truly5 stars. Bloody Mary was great too. Will come back. Read more

Last year I visited Mystic for an extended weekend to celebrate a friend’s birthday and came across Bravo Bravo (or Bravo... ovarB as one sign said). After trying the food there it became obvious how appropriate the name was. We tried a variety ofapps, entrees, desserts and drinks and were not disappointed in any aspect. My friend ordered the Paloma and instantly became afan! In fact, she ordered 3 of them that night. I opted for the seasonal Blueberry Thyme fizz cocktail which was a drink withcomplexity where the experience at the beginning was different from the finish. Some of the memorable dishes were the burrataapp, the whipped goat cheese app and the special entree of a short rib and fried egg on top of a bed of Israeli couscous. Iliked the way the spices were used to enhance the natural flavors here while adding accents of their own. Looking forward tohaving another meal here next time I’m in Mystic. Read more

Sophisticated design, soft ambience, merry clientele, fine food and central location with a view of the bridge. Waiting for the... event to start, we ordered calamari off of the Happy Hour menu and arancini from the Specials menu. Both good. Everything at ourtable from the event menu was top notch. The baby red and green leaf salad starter with Gorgonzola dressed with balsamicvinaigrette, one order of Gnocchi with sausage ragu and parmesan reggiano, a second of seared scallops on porcini mushroomrisotto and baby spinach, and a third dish with grilled salmon with lentils, baby spinach and mustard sauce were all finecuisine superbly cooked.
