They're up for Restaurant of the Year in CT for a really good reason - because the food there is amazing. It's a fairly simple... farm to table spot, but you leave very happy and full after dining here. Everything we tried was outstanding. We had rawoysters, baked oysters, and Oysters Rockefeller- all were amazing. The waiter and staff were attentive and helpful and neveroverbearing. Felt obligated to stick to seafood since it has the name oyster in the title. but all the meat dishes that passedour table looked and smelled great. We go to Mystic once a year, this is now a mandatory stop when we go. Read more

Had a great dinner here. The menu is simple and executed perfectly, with some unique surprises here and there. We had a tuna &... tomato sourdough, the texture and flavor was great and the addition of dill blossom was genius. The other dishes we had weregreat too, but I forgot to take any pics! We sat in front of the open kitchen and could see the great team vibe and thateveryone really loves what they do! Read more

It was so good that I forgot to take photos of everything else. Above all else, the service was great. Thank you ???? Highly... recommend the staples - in no particular order - sourdough and corn bread ????????; the tagliatelle, the rigatoni, and both theRhode Island and the New England chowder. We also had the monkfish, which is seasonal. It was on a bed of lentils. Verydelicious. They also have happy hour when we were there so you get extra value there and the happy hour menu has the chowdersand raw oysters as well. Read more

Really enjoyed this restaurant! Both the service and the food were top notch. Wanted to eat in the treehouse, but it was closed... due to wind damage. Was actually a little cool the day we visited, so might not have been a great choice. Anyway, we orderedfrom the Brunch menu and had a bunch of fresh raw oysters, several breakfast ramen bowls and some French toast. All greatportions and well prepared. We were there in April and beat the crowds fortunately. I can assume long lines over thesummer. Would love to go back if our future travels take us near Mystic again. Read more

Love this place. They have an amazing menu and a top notch head chef. She really knows how to put together a well rounded menu.... They have great happy hour specials of oysters and other food options as well. Happy hour cocktails and beers as well. The mainbuilding (they also have a treehouse location) is quaint and cozy giving you a fine dining experience with a at home feel. Staffis very nice and very accommodating of any food allergies. It was a random decision to try this restaurant. The place is charming with open kitchen. Staff is extremely kind and helpful.... The recommended food was unique in taste and quality. We ordered mokum carrots, roasted oysters, mussels, day boat scallops.Perhaps it’s important to note that a glass of Sancerre went perfectly with ordered food. Read more

It's one of the best places we have dined during our visit to Mystic. The menu is limited in selection but everything on there... is excellent. Great presentation and the taste was adventurous. Our waitress Kelsey had great recommendations and even talked usinto staying for dessert which really was worth trying even if we were so stuffed ????. Oh yeah the cocktails are good too. Read more
