My kids and I decided to try breakfast at the hideout! I had heard it was good but I didn?t expect it to be as good as it was.... This was by far the best breakfast I have EVER had in the basin. They have a great breakfast selection for adults and kids. Myson ordered the kids chocolate chip pancakes and on the menu it said 3 mini pancakes but they were as big around as a theopening of a salad bowl. I have dined at this little gem, Hideout Steak House, twice now and was not disappointed either time! I love the smell as soon... as the doors open because it smells like an actual steak house. Had fun cooking my own steak on a hot stone and the service isamazing! The only constructive feedback I can give is the cooked vegetables could be cooked a little less. However, it's notgoing to deter me from visiting again! Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I highly recommend! Read more

It's a steakhouse. It's exactly what you want it to be. Amazing smells of the grill, a lively and happy atmosphere. There's... something special that happens when people eat beef. I think they are happier. My experience was outstanding. I arrived as aparty of one, and was promptly seated at the bar. The staff, even though they were working at a blistering Pace delivering othertables orders, regularly checked on me to make sure that I was doing all right. Of course, I ordered one of the best cuts ofbeef. A well marbled ribeye. I ordered mine rare, and it came out rare. I enjoyed every bite of it. While you are at it, youneed to get the garlic mashed potatoes with cheese. Excellent flavor, amazing texture, and oh so good. I opted also for thesauteed vegetables. I have at this place several times in the last 3 months and so far have not been disappointed. The salad bar is super fresh and... they keep it clean. If you are driving through the Myton area this place is the only good place to eat. The next good restaurantor fast food is 15 miles. Read more
Worst experience ever. I was seated 30 minutes before a server came around. Before the server came a girl brought menus and... water. We said hi, she didn't say anything. Despite nearly leaving, a server finally arrived and took our orders. We orderedthree 12 ounce prime rib. The food arrived timely, but was gross and nasty. The vegetables were rubbery and dry, the sour creamin the potatoes tasted rotten, the prime rib, tasted and smelled like ham. All three of us had the same opinion. I cut past theouter edges of the steak and the ham taste went away towards the center. We brought this to the servers attention. Sheimmediately argued with my wife and told her that this was normal and everyone else ate it fine. Eventually after arguing, shewent and talked with the manager. They did end up comping off two of the steaks, but it was still a disappointment. Ohh anddon't forget the dead Flys and nasty bandaid with flesh that had been left in the window.
