I loved Silver Beach Resort. They offer traditional tent camping, RV hookup spaces, cabins, rental RV?s, and TINY HOMES! They... have a playground for families, and the spaces are very spread out so there is lots of privacy. The staff was very friendly andeven provided me a personalized welcome letter expressing how happy they were that I was their guest! They have their own smallgrocery story and dining with really great burgers and sandwiches and custom coffee that?s open til 8pm. The pictures onExpedia don?t do it justice. this place is not for relaxing family vacations... this seems to have become a party place. had neighbors getting drunk,... laughing loudly, screaming, and playing LOUD music until 2am. also, despite the fire ban, several camps had campfires going andi watched workers drive by and see the fires and say/do nothing... made me feel VERY unsafe. we also rented a cabin and it waskind of gross. there were holes in the walls, mildew on windows, ants in the bathroom, leftover food from the previous campersoutside all over the ground (so i guess they don't bother cleaning outside the cabins). honestly this place is way overpricedfor the quality you're getting. the only saving grace was the lake is beautiful. overall really disappointed in thisplace. EDIT: to the owners response, no, they were not propane fires. they were wood burning fires. i watched people put woodinto the fires and could smell the smoke. Read more

Used to be a decent place; will cherish the memories of camping trips past, but unfortunately probably won't be back. This last... attempt at a vacation was a disaster, with no thanks to the rapacious staff. The new management that is operating the place arerude and greedy, and prioritize profit over the people staying there. Our light mention of a noise complaint from some fellowcampers a spot over from ours was ignored, and the young lady behind the counter at check in was stuck up, and devoid ofpersonality. If you are seeking a place to enjoy a nice vacation, keep looking. Read more

Year 4 and looking forward to next year Great place with Great Hosts the Accommodations are amazing and at a reasonable price... we absolutely love it! I?ve recently heard some negative comments but I think it?s just hearsay so I would recommend you comestay here and experience it for yourself and I think you will love it too. I read the reviews from others on here and I must say either their family or friends of the staff because this is definitely un... true. Unless these people were just hating there jobs the holiday weekend for us! Horrible customer service from checking inuntil the day I left. I wished I wrote down names but it wouldn?t matter it was every female that worked here. We were toldthere was grass at our sites, false. It was just dirt and huge rocks. We thought there was a restaurant since it shows resort/restaurant False, it was order at the counter and wait. I have to admit the ice cream, and breakfast burrito was pretty darngood! I almost canceled because the girl was just so rude! But I didn?t. Your neighbor at the camp sites were literally 2 feetaway from each other. We had no privacy what so ever. The showers/bathrooms are very dirty and only two showers for the wholepark. (Lines we?re insane to get to take one) and who would want to knowing there were hundreds of people in it right beforeyou. I cut my 4 nights to two nights. The lake was very pretty. If passing through I?d stop for the day ?maybe? but to actuallycamp here. I definitely wouldn?t and honestly, I wouldn?t recommend for any of my family/friends to camp here. This park reallyneeds employees to have Customer service work shops or find a new career! Regarding Jacqueline Gonzalez post. When we Arrived we didn?t see any signs. So for that Sir I apologize. We paid after we were... made aware that we needed to pay for parking and you told my kids the vehicles were fine as long as we paid. Now for theattitude I gave you Im not going apologize for that. My seventeen year old son was being respectful in answering you. He?s nota confrontational person. I got fed up when you kept badgering him. I kept trying to talk to you and explain that we weren?taware of the signs or that we needed to move the vehicles. But you kept on and on with harassing my son.
