Did not have a good experience. Seemed silly for example that a restaurant would say, "We're out of salt.". Or a loaded baked... potato would cost $12. And the "burger" was almost comical. Maybe there other stuff is good but we won't go back. Read more

My husband, my Aunt Fay, and I ate a late lunch at Brendyn's BBQ, today. Our sandwiches and banana pudding were... out-of-this-world! Brendyn's makes the best beef brisket in East Texas. The tiny parking lot is clean, as is the restaurant. The rock music being played is at exactly the correct volume to be heard well and yet allow conversation among diners. Therestroom is a bit shabby but clean and stocked. Eat here, if you crave delicious barbecue: Brendyn's serves top-notch smokedmeat! Read more

Eat here. Seriously. The brisket is amazing!!! And the macaroni is fantastic. Ask anyone in Nacogdoches and they all say... Brendyn's is great. We changed the date of our trip to Nac to try this restaurant, featured in Texas Monthly, and we were notdisappointed. We had high expectations and it met all of them. Everything on the menu is great, but it is not an exaggerationthat the brisket is definitely some of the best in the state of Texas. Was in Nac for the day and was in the mood for BBQ and this is the first place that popped up on maps. Did not disappoint. I got... a little bit of everything since it was my first time and the ribs were my favorite. This place easily became a member of theclean plate club. Will be back soon. Read more
I had Brisket and smoked stuffed peppers. It wasn't generic fried jalapenos, it was actual peppers wrapped in bacon and smoked.... Food taste great and filling, excellent place to stop for lunch or dinner. Read more
