Came here with a gift card and enjoyed a casual mid-week lunch. Tides is both what I expected and in some ways what I wasn't... expecting. It is a very classic American restaurant - with more seafood options. It has sports TVs, Keno, and a somewhat datedfeeling to it. Our waitress seemed apathetic. Menu was also what I expected - boundless options of fried food, pizzas, and otherclassic American dishes. That all said, what I wasn't expecting was that there are parts of the menu that were a bit more"inspired" and off the normal path. I ordered the pizza special (Puttanesca pizza), and it was quite good! It had capers,kalamata olives, anchovies, and parmesan. We also ordered the fish tacos, with wasabi slaw, and that was also impressive. Thewasabi really stood out, in a subtle way that really highlighted the flavor. Above all else, the view was great. It truly is ina wonderful location, and on a sunny summer day it provides this wonderful reprieve from the daily hustle. A chance to view theocean and enjoy food/company. Read more
Stopped by with a colleague for dinner. Place was busy with a 45min wait. Decided to go to the beach to enjoy some cool... evening air. Ended up trying a crab appetizer and fish tacos. Not bad at all. Will need to come back to try other options ontheir menu. Service was good and nice view to the ocean. Read more

What an amazing experience. My late grandmother?s favorite restaurant. This place was slamming. The food came fast and the... drinks were strong. Food and drinks were perfect! Waitress named Brooke was on the ball and super friendly. We made reservations for 12:30 lunch... today on Sunday, it was the perfect beach day and service & food did not disappoint! We visited the town March and followed advice from their website to call for a reservation. We had a table available in about 30... minutes and found parking and entry to be easy. Staff was friendly and we had a great experience with Savannah, who explainedthe menu and specials ok top of taking great care of us. We opted for the fish sandwich, a cocktail from the specials, and thelocal ice cream sundaes that Savannah recommended (the farm is nearby). Everything was delicious! They have a loyalty program ifyou are more loc, and we loved the view of the beach from our table. Will definitely be back on our next visit! Read more
Food, service, and view always great here. The space has expanded over the years and is doing another remodel to add more... covered seating. Fried seafood platter is a go to and can?t go wrong with the apps. I did have the steak and cheese once andthought it was ehh. Tucking into a plate of fried clams after a walk on the beach here was about as good as a summer day gets. Seems like they know... how to take care of lots of folks. I didn?t make a reservation (probably should have), but they seated me and service was fastand friendly. Not a lot of options in the immediate area, so all the more reason to appreciate this place.
