My wife and I popped in here on a whim (reservations are recommended). They were able to seat us right away, and we had... excellent service throughout our experience! Our server was Kaela, who told us the specials of the evening (7 of them)! We hadour appy, then our main courses came, followed soon by dessert and coffee. Everything was superb, done right and extremelydelicious! My wife had Roast Lamb (done perfectly in a wine reduction), and I had a Seafood pasta - I got 60% seafood (clams,mussels, crab, salmon, shrimp and scallops!) vs 40% pasta! Desserts were fabulous, and we even got a little treat from the house- a shot of Ouzo mixed with blackberry lemonade. Incredible evening with my father today thanks to Asteras and our waitress April. Great portions, perfected roast lamb and a... welcoming atmosphere. The owner is a gem. Very thoughtful and personally makes sure every table is satisfied. Will be backguaranteed. Read more

The best Greek Restaurant we've ever been to! This restaurant gives out an authentic Greek vibe with its music and warm and cozy... atmosphere. We ordered the Pita with Melitzanosalado Dip (we all love this, it's so good!), Lamb Souvlakia, and the #1 Platter(Roast Lamb [so soft and juicy, no meat smell!], Moussaka, Spanokopita, Dolmades, Calamari). For dessert, we had Baclava andEkmek, courtesy of the house...thank you! Every single thing we had was so delicious and we truly enjoyed the food!!! Peter,the owner, is pretty hands on and making sure customers are seated and served as quickly as possible. Carl, our waiter, and therest of the staff are very nice and warm in their dealings with us. Discovering this place in downtown Nanaimo, BC is the silverlining in the ferry cancelation of our trip back to the lower mainland. Read more

The food was great. The portions were huge. I felt the service was a little scattered, but they courteous.
Fantastic, friendly and attentive service. Food was delicious! They had a meat trio as a special. half baby back ribs, some... garlic shrimp and a chicken with some potatoes, veggies and their included sides. The location is very cozy. As it was once ahouse, it has very warm and welcoming vibes. Highly recommended!! Read more
One of our dining highlights in the past few years! Amazing dining experience and a great restaurant for your special occasion... (or not). The owner is greeting his customers and checking in on them is the little details that make it amazing. Our server wasvery friendly and approachable. The ambience is very charming and you feel like you were in Greece. The food was delicious andthey didn't cut back on the portion. We ordered two appetizers, but unfortunately I wasn't paying attention to the name but theywere delicious. I ordered the lamb shank for $33 and it was the best I ever had. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food andservice there. I highly recommend this place and will be back again! Read more
