The food here is very good. Better than the food we tried at another Mexican restaurant in Nanaimo. It's a cozy little family... Cafe style place. If you're on your own or just want to stop with kids or friends someplace It's good. They don't serve beeror any other alcohol and their hot sauce I found, while pretty tasty, extremely weak on the fire I would happily eat hereagain but it's definitely not a date night place. Best authentic Mexican food we have ever had here in Canada. Great food, great service and good prices. Love the decor. Such a... cozy and quaint little restaurant. Miguel and Sylvie have really put their heart and soul into this place and it really shows. And we love being able to practice our Spanish while we're enjoying a great meal. Read more
Muy delicious ????, authentic in every way. I was able to try several of the meats, they were absolutely delicious, seasoned... on point. Even simple things like rice and beans were top shelf in flavor. I will be back to cruise the whole menu. As well asthat Taco buffet on weekends. Thanks Miguel! Read more
Great little Mexican place with parking in front. Located beside a gas station but once you are inside the decor and colors help... distract you from the outside view. Family run, service is personal and authentic. Weekends there is all you can eat tacos whichI would recommend. Give this place a try if you are in the mood for Mexican food. Read more
First time eating on a local authentic Mexican restaurant. I am used to eat fast food burritos, or home made tacos using store... bought seasoning. Food was different to my taste, but good. Servings are huge for one. Some food in the menu are definitelyshareable. I see a lot of family with kids dining in the resto when we were there. What I love eating there is the festiveatmosphere of the resto. I love supporting local. Read more
Mmm, mmm, good! ???? I ordered the fish tacos and stole one of my daughter's chicken fajitas (couldn't resist)! The chicken... filling came out on a heated skillet, so the aroma was irresistible and I knew I had to have one ???? Her serving was largeenough for two people, so definitely a nice shareable dish. The salsa was probably the best salsa I had the pleasure oftasting! Service was great and we didn't wait long for our food at all. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend the2 dishes we tried. You won't be disappointed. Read more
