Thank you to the staff and management of the Landlubber for hosting the Windward?s farewell. Carly our server did a rockstar... job, serving a table that was booked for 10-12 which grew to 40+ easily, and stayed for many hours. To the kitchen staff, youdidn?t miss a beat! Your food production was amazing! I tried your homemade tarter-tots for the first time, all I can say isYUM, and addictive!! I will definitely return. You have a tucked in gem of a establishment that houses an amazing local pubatmosphere. I can?t thank you enough for letting our regulars say goodbye to us in the proper way. Stopped in for dinner/drinks while visiting from out of town - nice classic interior, friendly attentive staff, and a... surprisingly adventurous guest tap (was *not* expecting to find a stone fruit sour on tap at an old school pub) Appreciatedtheir 'beer and bites' combo (beer + 1/2 sized appie) that let us try out a few different things, like the homemade tater totsand onion rings*, which were both A+. The burgers were very good as well. *I'm not sure if they gave us a full sized serving ofonion rings by mistake, or their "regular" serving is enormous, but it was a lot of onion rings for a half order...not that wewere complaining! Lovely pub I often stop here on the way back to Vancouver via bc ferry?s there?s a free pool table and dart board inside always... goes down well with a pint or 2 food is lovely too highly recommend trying the jack Daniels burger gorgeous burger good sizeportion of chips (fries) with it too Read more
Wednesdays are wing nights at the Landlubber Pub. I opted out of that choice since I was watching my calories...again ???? I... chose the fish tacos and a salad, since I have recently took a liking to them. To my disappointment, it was not as good as mylast two experiences. The fish was very bland, and the fixings were basically the same stuff from my boring salad. The saladlooked like bagged salad from the grocery store, with tiny chopped up tomatoes.. Boring.I didn't finish it. I was sitting theretrying to get through my not so good dinner choice and my company were making noises, mmmm, yummy...sigh I should have gottenwings, they sounded like they were delicious. Tip: if you go for wings, try getting there early, we got there at 5:30 and gotthe last table. There was a lineup when we left. Read more

It was a bit loud for me, but the food was good, the ?home made tater totes? are really good, as are their onion rings!... Everything else was good but not as notable! Read more
