Beautiful view, food was OK/good. A little bit costly, but you're actually paying for the Nice view and the great patio spot.... Beer is cold! Nice place to enjoy one. I would go again. Awesome little place with great atmosphere! I have celiac disease and can?t eat gluten without fear of being incredibly ill. Our... server (who?s name I can?t remember for the life of me) was an incredibly friendly young man with wicked cool tattoos. Heinformed me that although they didn?t have a gluten free menu he would make sure that my husband and I had a safe and deliciousgf meal. Boy did he deliver, he even spoke to the kitchen to ask them to be careful during prep. We had very yummy gf cajunchicken burgers on gf buns with a fresh garden salad. Overall, it wasn?t the most amazing food I?ve ever had, but it was tasty,I didn?t get sick, and the service was BEYOND STELLAR! The patio also has an incredible harbour view. So poor experience, the place itself is great nice, view and ambiance. However, the food not so good at all, for the price the... portions are way too poor. And also, seemed like they used leftovers for the fries and salad. Not worthy at all. Read more
This is not a great experience if you're looking for good food or even okay food. Coconut shrimp looked like it was out of the... box, fries are only edible if they bring you back to the days of your childhood fairgrounds. Steak sandwich featured a poorchoice of meat; uncut and overcooked (rare was ordered). The service was the only thing worthwhile funny and efficient whichalmost makes it more annoying to tip more at this overpriced meal. Go here for beers, the view, and the service. Nothing else. Great view but ordinary pub-style cuisine. It's a good place to stop before taking the BC Ferry back to Horseshoe Bay.
Was so excited to try their mussels and clams but was utterly disappointed. The quality was unbelievably bad. The actual meat of... the mussels were shriveled up to almost nothing (aka not fresh at all). Pretty much all the mussels and clams were like this,except for maybe one or two that was relatively bigger (but still tiny) at the size of a dime. The sauce was also way too salty, probably to cover up the fact that it was old seafood and had no freshness taste whatsoever. Probably the worst mussels I'veever had, much worse than the frozen ones you can get at the grocery store. Service was ok though. The good view was probablythe only thing worth the money. Read more
Fish Tacos were very tasty. Seafood Chowder was good although had been looking for Clam Chowder. Great service and entertaining... location as you can watch the boats, ferry, and seaplanes come and go as well as other harbour activities. Read more
