Tried to place an order 08.13.22 but was denied service because there was too much noise in the background. I just wanted to say... shame on you. You agreed to place the order, put us on hold for 15 minutes while we waited you decided no. My father passed andwe were feeding family that had gathered for a funeral. When we tried to have other family members place the order you got upsetand still continued to refuse service. My father raved about you guys for years and I?m really disappointed in your customerservice because we will never order from here again! That was ridiculous. I ordered the 1 lb chicken wing dinner with greek salad. It came as 8 pieces of very dry chicken... drumettes in the tin pan with a cup of hot bbq sauce. My husband said it look like bbq sauce soup. I am not exaggerating. Ijust poured over half cup of sauce out of the tin! The greek salad had so much crumbled feta you couldn't taste anything else. I give up. LG's had been my go to for pizza and pasta for 20 years and these last couple years have been a steady downhill. Amazing pizza and great wings. I was staying in a nearby motel and Little Georges was one of the only places open still so I... gave them a go and I?m glad I did. I?ll order from them next time I am in Nanaimo from the mainland! Read more
This used to be one of our favorites when we lived here and we ordered from Bruce at least once a week, man how I've missed... it!!! So delicious! Ordered baked cheese tortellini, popcorn shrimp and large greek salad and soo happy right now! It arrivedwarm, the cheese was gooey... oh my gosh, just delicious! Read more
Last night will sadly be the last time I buy anything from Little George's, despite being a loyal customer for over 15... years. The poor food quality and poor attitude of the staff are just too obvious to overlook now. After having repeated issueswith ordering the 2 for 1 pasta deal from them and having to make "special requests" that they actually FILL THE CONTAINERS (theway they used to), only to arrive home with my food to discover them to be half full. Again. And Again. The excuses keep pilingup. Each time I've placed an order and requested that they PLEASE fill the containers, this time, I get a different reason.Yesterday it was, "We had a staff member who was over-filling them", - implying that I must have just thought the containers areusually full because of this "ex-employee". 15 years of being a customer - I know what my order is supposed to look like. Infact, this is the ONLY restaurant I know of ANYWHERE that seems to think it's "normal" to give the customer a half fullcontainer of food. I didn't mind when you slowly inched your prices up on the pasta - cost of living and all that. I happilypaid - and tipped - your staff when I picked up my food all these years. I'm a regular Door Dash customer. I have ordered many meals from Little George's. Burgers. Deep fried mushrooms or shrimp.... Salads. Spaghetti. I tried to order tonight and suddenly, DD says I'm no longer in the delivery area. Why? After months andmonths of orders? I dunno. Anyway, I went to Skip, who jumped at my order and arrived at my doorstep fast. Sorry, DD. You got ALOT of money from me. All good things must come to an end. Read more
