This was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were professional, responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Ours was... the first in-person wedding of the summer after Covid, and the venue ran perfectly, leading many of our guests to compliment uson how our wedding came together. The prices were great and the food was amazing. They provide a great selection of food andservices, while allowing you to customize the space for your own uses. We had our wedding reception at the golf course this year and it was fabulous! The experience all around was amazing - working... with Haley, who is a great person, organized, calm, kind and keeps you on track was such a huge help and relief on the day of asshe helped get everything ready and made sure the place was set up when our guests arrived. She helped make our vision of ourwedding come true and did so with the utmost professionalism. The food was fantastic!! The roast was a fan favourite and we hadmany comments from guests that the food was delicious! We also had a poutine bar come out for a late night snack which was a bighit. The staff were friendly and courteous. They made sure the guests were comfortable. The bar staff were amazing at handlinga large crowd and were super efficient - they made sure the bride and groom always had a drink in hand! The space and locationwas beautiful. We can't say enough positive things about having our wedding at the golf course, it was a perfect day and wehighly recommend working with Haley, Charles and the team at the NGC. Read more

Welcomed like family, yet respected like professional equal, you too,will find your place here at Nanaimo Golf Club. The recommendation to stay, play, explore, and eat are at a pinnacle. Icouldn't imagine a greater way to spend an entire day than soaking up the sun on this Island-style Course & Club. Time will slipaway(along with your worries) while you're here. I attended a banquet at the Nanaimo Golf Club. The facility is very nice inside with great views of the golf course. The service... was friendly and professional. The reason why it got knocked down in score was the bar service was long and it took a while forthe tables to go get their food. The food was delicious but they ran out of salmon and rice by the time my table was finallycalled up but luckily my daughter was able to get some. As for golfing it's semi-private I believe with prime time slots formembers. I'll have to try them one day for golf and lunch. Hopefully it will change my score next visit. Read more
