I?ve been eating Stookey?s bbq since as long as I can remember which is well over 50 some years. Back in the day they were made... to perfection the sweet juicy pork was piled high on a nice fresh bun and today I received dry tasteless meat half the amount ofback then on a horrible stale bun. I guess like with everything the more you pay the worse things get. Businesses don?t seem tostand behind what once made them famous. Read more
Visited today with son. First time I?ve eaten here since high school. I?m currently 48. Excellent food, great service! My wife... who grew up outside the area is currently enjoying some of the take home turkey BBQ as I type. Can?t wait to bring her along andvisit again! Read more
Greatest place in west Nanticoke! The sandwiches are amazing and staff are down to earth! Great place for family! The Pork... Turkey Ham Beef And Brisket sandwiches are the best in P.a. The chili is really good as well and now they have Potato pancakes!Small but delicious! Also remember, The staff works for their tips so make sure you tip them because they deserve it. Had the Combo Platter. Ribs were nice; chicken was dry, but tasty and meaty. Corn muffin was nice and had a little something... different in the flavor (a touch of cumin, I think, or a blend containing cumin, such as a commercial chili powder).
