First let me say the waitstaff couldn't be nicer. As for the food, absolutely awful! Ordered the swordfish without the... "blackened" seasoning. Tasted like iodine. It was over the hill. Probably why they don't offer it without heavy spicing. My wifeordered the Cesar salad with crispy chicken which was mushy and the dressing must have been out of a "big lot" economy bottle.Again, dreadful as were the stale cheap crotons. Guessing this place is good for lobster and nice bar. There are reasons whyother places have lines and this place is pretty empty. If you want a nice dinner, avoid this place! Read more

Im living Nantucket almost five years I asked myself why i didn?t come here before so nice inside and everything i love it!!!
The trap has always been pretty good, but this year it?s great. They?ve made several changes to the menu and have new tables on... the patio. The food itself has been hugely improved upon over past years. Highly recommend giving it another shot if you haven?tbeen in a while! Read more
W enjoyed a clams casino appetizer, with great fish taco dinner, along with a bacon cheese burger to boot. We saw epic lobster... dinners being served to others, including a 5 pound lobster ????. And that you just don't see very often. So i would call thisplace legit. Read more
Awesome food! This is a great dinner spot and everytime we walked by the patio was always packed. The free cornbread was... amazing, we also liked the clam chowder and the lobster. The fried food platter we had was pretty good but they just kind ofmixed everything together so you couldn?t really tell what you were eating. Also it was pretty reasonably priced for seafood onNantucket so overall we enjoyed our meal. Read more
Best meal on Nantucket! My mom and I stopped by right at 5 when they opened, looking forward to a nice lobster dinner. The... Nantucket Lobster Trap does not disappoint!! We each got a lobster dinner, mine boiled, her?s stuffed, and it wasdelicious!!! The lobster was nice and fresh, already dissembled for ease too. The french fries are also really yummy! Theperfect crunch and coating. Well worth the price to enjoy a comfortable and delicious lobster dinner. Read more
