I grew up in Spring Valley and remembered when my parents took me here. Now I am 72 and last night went to the Nanuet Resturant... for the first time in decades. Physically the inside has changed but the food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. We werethere a few hours eating and drinking and were not rushed at all. I highly recommend the Nanuet?s Resturant for snacks, pizza ordinner and they serve excellent drinks too! Read more

Cant go wrong with takeout appetizers and pizzas from Nanuet restaurant!! They?re my go to for a night of crispy, fried... goodness, whether I?m staying in or going out. Their menu has all the classics for a pub/bar but also lots of unique offeringsand some fun twists on originals. Reasonably priced and always delicious! Read more

Nanuet restaurant is simply the best pizza for me. I've never had a pie anywhere else that is a combination of thin crust and... pan pizza. Yes the Hotel is quite similar and delicious, but I find NR to be just a tad thicker with a bit more flavor. Theplace makes a glutton out of me every time! My only quibble is that they used to offer coupons on apps like Groupon that made itmore affordable, but I don't see them anymore. If they brought them back I could give them five stars over and over! Read more

Cannot praise enough, had a retirement get together fri.7 15 22, arranged it with Kaitlyn on wed 7 13 22, 40 people, Kaitlyn... nailed it. Bartenders were spot on, food service was fast, kudos to them. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend!Kaitlyn accommodated us last minute and did a Great job. I ordered a plain pie, one with roni, and some mozz sticks. Very good thin style pizza, cheese is a bit salty, and pie like... crust if that's your thing. Cup style pepperoni was very good, mozz sticks are as big as a deck of cards and a bit pricey at $14for 5. Read more

Having grown up with this place in the 70s, I finally had a chance to see it post-renovation during a rare trip to Rockland.... Save for the neon sign outside I never would have recognized it. Totally different inside, though they?ve kept some mementos(including a few hats from the bar). Place was packed with a long line on a Saturday night, but we snagged seats at the bar. Nomore pitchers of Bud?now there are several microbrews. The bartenders were friendly and gracious. They?ve heard the stories ahundred times but are happy to listen. While all of the food going by looked great (especially the sliders), we came 250 milesfor pizza. No disappointment at all, as it was the same as ever. A bartender told us the same guy has been making the dough20-something years. Happy to see the Nanuet Restaurant thriving. Whenever we?re back that way we will return. Read more

There's a lot potential in this restaurant but it all not quite there yet. The restaurant is local owned which is always a great... add on. The servers and hosts were very kind and polite. Servers were pretty attentive but yet a bit forgetful. We had to waitfor one of the entrees to come out longer than the others. It's not a deal breaker but it's a bit annoying watching others eatwhile still waiting for my entrees. When it comes to the food, everyone overall enjoyed there meal. There pizza was pretty good.My dish was subpar but serves me right for ordering a seafood dish in an Italian pizza restaurant. Given the fact they justopened about a month or two ago, I'm sure they will make the proper adustments. I can't wait to go back there, when thereadjustment's are made. Read more
