wow. we stopped by here after trying a few other places that were too busy to seat our party of four including a young tired... kid at around 5pm on a thursday. the staff was super friendly. there was plenty of parking. drinks came. fresh bread witholive oil was provided. the food came out fast and it was so good. we had the steak a pork chop pizza the fish special and afew salads. we will be back for sure. no wonder this place is a favorite for locals. Gorgeous patio and restaurant, but sadly the restaurant lost our ticket and did not get our entrees in until over an hour after... being seated. Our waiter did what he could to make things right, but it was difficult to save our experience as it was mybirthday dinner in Napa on the last night of our trip. Read more
Don Giovanni’s was terrific! Great drinks at a cool bar! Dinner was outstanding. The octopus salad was the best ever. The lamb... gnochetti was amazing. The scallop dish taste was great, but the plating looked a little like a plate of vomit. (Not trying tobe harsh, but dress that up somehow!) Great, great place to have a relaxing dinner. Read more
Highly recommend to take a outdoor seat at the patio. They have a beautifully maintained garden with design details here and... there. Relaxed ambient, good for family gathering. Part of the garden was under maintenance though. Recommend to reserve a tablebefore going. Read more
This is “outdoor dining at its best” in wine country or anywhere! The ambiance is upscale and relaxed. Our entrees of lamb... shank and halibut were cooked and served to perfection. The tiramisu and “top shelf” butterscotch pudding were simplyoutstanding. Wow! We will remember this delightful experience for a very long time! Read more
Perfect place for lunch or dinner in Napa. I’ve been several times and will return. Outstanding food, local wine options and... ambiance. Their expanded patio seating is great! The staff is always very personable. Be sure to make a reservation if you wantto get in. It is a favorite of both locals and visitors, a sure sign of a great place. Read more
This is my third visit here and the first two times were excellent. Historically they have some incredible variety on the menu... and unique dishes. That did not seem the case this time. The place was hopping busy. Our server was fun and animated but had ahard time keeping on top of his tables. We asked several times for water, heat stand, and a cocktail. The heating element nevercame despite asking twice and not being far. The food was generous portions but this visit not that great. The pesto pasta dishhad way too much pesto and not much pasta. The fried appetizer was average. The setting is truly lovely next to Vineyards inthe garden. The interior is well done as well. The tables are not jammed in so you have some personal space. Prices are fair.Since 2 or my 3 visits were excellent I will return to try again. Read more
