As usual, the new architecture for wineries along the Silverado Trail did not disappoint. The service at Clos du Val was a hit... and miss. Prior to getting to the winery we tried contacting to make a change to the reservation, good thing we emailed days inadvance because it took a few days to get back us. The service was average once we were there for the tasting, and thecustomized tasting menus for each party were a nice personalization touch. The wines reminded us of t many other wines we’vehad in the past, but the 2016 Three Graces Cab hit the spot so we had to purchase. We were pleasantly surprised to know that ourtastings would be comped if our wine purchases exceeded the price of our tastings, versus other spots where you need to purchasea certain number of bottles to waive each tasting. Only down side was that I had to remind them afterwards that I didn’t getthe credit/refund. So overall, we’d return but only now that we know what we know and ensure the bills are all settled priorto leaving to the next stop. Read more

Visited this beautiful winery with my friend who is a member here and had an amazing time. Although it was off-season in Napa,... we were welcomed with a very pretty and colorful wall of ivy, along with a glass of their unfiltered Chardonnay. The tastingroom was modern and chic and was a great atmosphere. Our host Sean was knowledgeable about the wine, grapes, and more. He alsogave us a tour to learn more about the fermentation process and barrels, which was very interesting. The winds were AMAZING andmy favorite was the Three Graces. Read more
