Coles Chop House was definitely worth it. Our service was fantastic, the atmosphere was very clean and elegant. The bread rolls... and butter was amazing to start off the dinner. We ordered the Halibut ceviche which was delicious and we also ordered thePorterhouse Steak already sliced (medium cooked) which was absolutely perfect! For our sides we had mashed potatoes, spinach,and also a some sort of mushroom plate which were all good as well. For dessert we had Creme Brule and a bread pudding platewhich was the best bread pudding I've ever had. This was our first time visiting Cole’s Chop House while in Napa and it did not disappoint! We were seating in the outdoor... tent, which was set up perfectly. It was open feeling, but still warm with a heat lamp nearby. A “Happy Anniversary” cardwas waiting for us as we arrived and our gracious server followed just after, wishing us the same. My significant other and I came for an early Valentine's Day dinner, and boy was this an amazing experience all around. The wait... staff are all first class, nice ambiance, phenomenal food, and great cocktails and wine list to boot. You will spend a lot morehere than most other restaurants in downtown Napa, but it's totally worth the price! Read more
Excellent steak and more restaurant conveniently located downtown Napa. We enjoyed the great variety of food and drinks. The... wine menu is very good. The sommelier even went to the next door restaurant and brought the wine the Chop House had run out of!We found that pretty spectacular. Went here with two of my friends and I must say it was one of the most pleasant dinners I’ve ever had! Cole’s Famous was... great and the ribeye steak was wonderful as well. All of the appetizers were splendid! Dessert was just what you want at the endof a great meal and their house wine paired well with everything. Cherry on top was our server who was so kind and treated uswell! 10/10 would recommend for any occasion. Money well spent for sure! Read more
I visited a friend in Oakland Veteran’s Day weekend. Sunday we went to Napa, tasted some wine and then went to Cole’s for... dinner. The ambiance was nice, the service was good. The sides were delicious, but my steak was horrible. I ordered my steakmedium well, with little pink, so basically well. Now many of you would say that’s my fault for ordering a well steak, andthat’s where I would have to disagree! I actually order all of my steaks well. They still come out tender and juicy anddelicious! I can’t cook steak, I’ve tried but I just can’t it’s difficult for me and they always turn out tough,therefore I don’t cook them. The steak tasted like I cooked it. I actually left steak on the plate because it was taking toomuch energy to chew. I want to give them a higher score, but it is a steak house and that’s what I’m rating. Read more
