Although this establishment has a nice ambiance, their food is lacking one thing: seasoning. I can only speak to the bbq chicken... and hushpuppies, but the chicken lacked favor. Seems as if the chicken was not seasoned before the bbq sauce was applied.However, the hushpuppies were quite tasty. I did not try their other food options, so I would not write them off based on myexperience. Hopefully, if you give them a try, your meal will be more flavorful than mine. Read more

I stopped by during a business trip to enjoy a Napa Valley experience. I tried making reservations online while waiting for the... place to open for lunch but it did not allow me for lunch. They let me sit at the bar since I was traveling alone and didn'tmine. I was a good adult escape from the over crowd resturants in the area. The lunch menu is very limited but dinner menulooked interesting. I was more interested in real food like a small steak instead of burger and fries. I ended up ordering awinter salad with a burger but the burger was more like eating a steak with a homemade roll. It made up the difference. So mybill for a salad, hamburger, glass of wine, 15% charge for covid or server I guess plus tip ended up being about $74 so don't goin if your on a budget. It was a business paid lunch for me. I was recommended this restaurant from a few Napa locals when I was at Grace’s Table restaurant. The restaurant is located in... the back corner of the First Street Napa shopping mall. You will walk up to two large doors and the outdoor seating is on yourright. When we walked in, we were surrounded by wine and the bar was straight ahead. The greeter found our lunch reservationand we were seated outside. In a few minutes, we had water and menus with a white wine recommendation. Per the localsrecommendation, we needed to order the burger and fries cooked in duck fat. We ordered as instructed and the food arrived inabout 15-20 minutes. Once you take your first few bites, you’ll understand why the restaurant is so quiet. The food is sodarn good! As I my teeth cut through the bacon and patty, I could feel the juice running down the palms of my hands. I closedmy eyes to enjoy the bite because I could tell this was a freshly ground hamburger.
