We ordered the tasting menu. Every dish was hands down delicious. I absolutely recommend this place.
The ambience is very nice, but that's about all they have going for them. The service is painstakingly slow. We were there for... an hour and a half over the course of dinner, and still don't know who our actual server was. It took that long to order andreceive 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and 1 roll. The food is decent, but extremely overpriced especially given the very small portionsize. Based on this visit I would not return. Read more
My wife and I stayed a couple of nights in Napa on our road-trip to Oregon. We searched for restaurants near by and while sure... the iron chef restaurant nearby popped up first this plays had maybe just a few reviews but sure was on a great track record. Wethought it might be a new place that just opened up. Turns out this wonderful place opened up right before the pandemic andsadly like many other small businesses had to close down for a while. Well ? we where fortunate it survived thus far and we gotto experience it. From the greeting at the front door to an all staff goodbye when leaving just an amazing experience. The foodis exquisite, modern with traditional excellence. Unique and definitely special and playful. We will be back if again visitingNapa!!! Thank you to our waiter Hiro! This was the best sushi I have had since spending time in Japan. Both the nigiri and rolls were exceptional and the waiters... were all extremely informed and articulate about the various dishes. Definitely would return should I find myself in Napa. Read more

What a wonderful place to start the weekend. We choose the chefs menu prefix and it was a great way to taste lots of different... things. Shashimi was delicious with such great fresh flavor. Just enough food but not too much. I would dine here again soon tokeep seeing what they are capable of! We had a great experience here! The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable considering everything is priced for... tourists in Napa. High quality sushi and very friendly wait staff. I am visiting here during the early stages of the restaurantstill, they have only been open a few months. You can tell people are still finding their groove with some of the small details,but would instantly make up for any missteps or confusions. Incredibly accommodating and the restaurant has an overall greatambience. Miso soup was possibly the best I've ever had! The sushi quality wasn't quite Michelin level I'd say, but that's okbecause this is a great "go-to" spot for a Friday night date. You aren't paying Michelin prices and you still get high qualityfood and service nonetheless. Read more
We did the fixed menu last weekend. The food was good, with the best courses being the Miso black cod and beef. The other dishes... were enjoyable but not much truly stood out. The service was friendly but incredibly slow pacing almost ruined the experience.At times we had 30 minutes between courses and we saw others wait 45 minutes for their first course. Cocktails were creative butexpensive and also good but not great. Overall I wouldn't rush to return. Read more
