Beautiful spot to sit and drink, inside and out. And inside they have a nice selection of wine tools and accompaniments. They... have a variety of tastings, with chocolates if you?d like. We definitely recommended enjoying the patio and ask for Luke! He wasvery informative and educational, sharing about the family history of the winery, the Meritage name, the grape history,etc. Our favorites were definitely the Father Mathew Cab and Petit Syrah. Well during Covid19 all experiences lack luster for the most part. The wine I enjoyed immensely, the wine tasting without a lot... knowledge of the background of the winery lacked excitement. I think based on price I was expecting a bit more fanfare. Flyingsolo on this trip as many throughout Europe over the years the experience just didn?t add up. However, the wine is wonderful. Iwould suggest since we can?t tour that you make the experience a bit more personal. Read more
What a wonderful tasting room! We got a 3-wine tasting for $20 each, and it was in the same complex as The Meritage Hotel so we... were able to walk straight back to our room afterwards. It's a very chic, relaxed vibe inside with seating enough for largeparties, smaller groups, and a wrap around bar seating. Our tasting pours were pretty generous which we appreciated, and we gota glass of wine that was also pretty heavy. The wines were excellent, we didn't end up getting a bottle, but we very muchenjoyed the tasting experience. Would recommend coming by for a nice afternoon tasting activity! Read more
