Girlfriend saw this from the street and immediately wanted to try. Oddly enough, it was the one time we didn't look at reviews.... When you walk in the menu looks incredible. We thought we made an excellent decision. Unfortunately it didn't take long for thatto change. The cashier seemed like she was having a bad day. Offered no help to the menu which we couldn't quite decide on. Oncewe sat down the tables were sticky and flies hovering around us and on our food. The food was lackluster to say the least. Hadthe Mac and cheese brisket and perogies steak and cheese. Food was cold, almost like it was microwaved for a minute. Mac andcheese was bland and soggy. When you see Mac and cheese as a main option on the menu you'd expect it to be at least half decent.Very disappointed to say the least. Its also very expensive. Came out to just under $50 with two meals and drinks. We thought westaying a bit too long as they started closing at 7 when we were still seated and they had other customers. To top it all off,they were handing out expired coupons at the cash. Sad because a place like this has a ton of potential. Read more
The food was cold after waiting a very long time for it! Our cheese didn't even melt. Onions weren't fried (as stated in menu).... "Thick cut bacon" seemed to be readycrisp bacon. And a lot of the menu was unavailable as they were out of BBQ sauce at3pm. The restaurant captured our attention because it was an interesting concept, perhaps things will improve in time. Read more
Very unhappy. Me and my boyfriend went here for dinner. Spent 50$ between us both and mine was cold and onions were raw. Asked... for it to be remade and it was made wrong a second time. I've been to the ottawa location and it exceeded my expectations. Thisone is not the same service nor quality of food. Also, when asking for it to be remade a brown haired woman was very rude makingcomments about me complaining. The gentleman Cashier with hat and beard was very nice and understanding. The lady in the backgave me dirty looks and had zero respect for customers. Also wastched another customer come back at the same time after leavingand complain as well. Im not happy. Read more
Food was good but very pricey. Perogi wasn't cheap with a pop $19 +change, $10.75 just for a normal poutin with diced green... onions on top. Add in the soft drink $2.75 Certainly very expensive to take a family. I know I won't be going again. Read more
My husband and I just made an order. The site is hard to follow. We wanted two pierogi poutines and some chedder bacon bites. We... did alter the order a bit. When we got home we notice that we only got fries each. No gravy and no pierogi. Very dry. The bitestaste like broccoli not cheddar and bacon. Very disappointing. On top they make you tip. I'm a little confused how to rate them. They were my first food stop in Canada... not by choice. However, the food was good. It... was just such a small amount. They served the loaded poutine in to go boxes that were not even a quarter way full. I paid $20for an appetizer. It was supposed to be the herbivore meal but was missing half the specified veggies.
