We have gone to this restaurant twice. The first time a hot turkey sandwich with real meat, yummy gravy on mashed and veggies.... Second time tried fish 'n chips another yummy meal. Topped off my meal with a piece of home made coconut cream pie. The place isclean, nice decor, both servers were excellent and prices are reasonable. Haven't been here for awhile. Turkey sandwich with real meat not processed. I don't like fries with the skins on, funny thing... you don't notice it at all, they are that good. Girlfriend approved liver & onions, says they know how do it right. I've spentsome time perfecting my coconut cream pie and this one is equal to my best creation. Yummy. Large portions we really got ourmoney's worth as other places are so expensive before any tip but that's not the case here. I tried here for the first time and it was a takeout. The customer service was excellent, as my primary school teacher would... smile better than the lady at the desk. The food portion was huge with fries, but it was an average experience . I willdefinitely be back in the next millennium. Read more
Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip to Quebec. We had Halibut & Chips. Completely exceeded our expectations! Food was... amazing, server was very polite and attentive, we were in and out in 40 minutes!! Highly recommend ???? Read more
Great waitress and food is amazing!! I would love to ask 1 small improvement, please make senior (or child) portion as at our... age we hate to waste food and the portions are for when I was in my 20's. Great fish restaurant. The portions are huge and tasty. The place is very clean and neat inside. The menu selections are very... appealing and a great variety. Each day of the week has a different special. My favorite is Wednesday as it's All you can eatCOD which I had. The staff are courteous and friendly. Stopped in for dinner after an afternoon ride exploring backroads, took a minute to get seated as the servers were busy running... food, but was seated without any issues. Had my drink order taken by who I think was the owner, and then had my order taken whenmy drink arrived, food came in a timely manner, and came hot and fresh. Batter was nice and crispy and the fish was a nicebalance of tender and flakey. Fries were cooked with a nice amount of crisp to them, and it came with a generous portion of slawas well. Ordered a rice pudding for dessert, which came chilled with whipped cream and cinnamon on top, which tasted prettygood.
