We came here for my Cousin's golden birthday. We had a reservation and the restaurant did a good job of making sure we had... plenty of room for our group. The wait staff was attentive and did great at keeping track of all of the drink orders and foodorders. The food was delicious. I got the steak burger and fries and enjoyed it thoroughly. CityGate Grille was probably the most personalized and amazing dining experience we've ever had. Went here on a date with my... wife, and the hostess greeted us by name at the door. The wait staff made us feel welcome as if we were regular patrons, eventhough it was our first time there. Our server was very conscious of our dairy allergies, and knew the menu backwards andforwards. He was very friendly and very conscious of the fact that this was a date for my wife and I, and he contributed to theromantic atmosphere by addressing us as "the young lady" and "the gentleman". Just excellent. My first time visiting and I have no complaints from the ladies at entrance to the gentlemen clearing the... tables. Our sever was Angelo, he was the best very busy but never missed a beat with attention to our needs. I hope all of histables were as pleased as mine was with his service. The manager and owner were very personable. Took the time to visit tablesand asked guests if the were enjoying themselves. Shook our hands and had a real conversation. The live Band 3-Point Soul Jazzthere are no words to describe the Jams that came from them. I will be keeping up with them. CityGate Grill I will go back and Iam recommending it as one my favorite spots with great hospitality, food, wine and entertainment. Read more
Great dining experience and date spot. All the Greek specialties sounded great, but i’m glad I chose the BBQ Ribs with... coca-cola bbq sauce. Delicious!! Dined a second time and wow, the lamb sliders are out of this world good. The tzatziki isamazing. Read more
The visit here was impeccable! Our drinks were on point. Had a dirty gin martini and the Carmel apple martini. Our filets were... cooked with perfection and sides were so tasty. Daniella is an amazing bartender and server here. Everything is perfect. Thetables are all set up and stunning. Read more
We always love coming here! Had an excellent meal in the bar tonight, started with Buffalo cauliflower bites with gorgonzola... cream dipping sauce, followed by lamb sliders and beef tenderloin medallions with wild mushrooms and marsala reduction overhorseradish potatoes. My twin sister and I celebrated our birthday and our server Miguel was nothing short of amazing. He was there before we even... needed to look for him. He was 110% attentive to our every need. There aren't many wait staff who have wooed me, but Miguel wasextraordinary top of the line. If you aren't seated in his section request him. Oh and the food and drinks were very good.
