Very large, pretty setting upon entering, but we realized every seat cushion at the tables were ripped and tattered. Server just... left a tablet at our table on top of some paper menus. Come to find out we were supposed to have known to pick up tablet, turnon and order from it! We didn't receive our pork and peanut dumplings till end of our meals after we asked about them andunfortunately they gave us shrimp dumplings by mistake. Our entrees were very tasty. This restaurant does so many things right but it is so expensive, I unfortunately would not return. I just feel like you get... nickel and dimed when you order. You'll end up ordering a bunch of small dishes, the food will come super fast, but it alltotals up to a ridiculous price tag in the end. It doesn't seem like you get a lot of food for how much you spend. If you lookat the photo I attached to my review, the total was $120... Not including a tip. This barely fed 3 people too. Is it good -yes Is it worth it - no That essentially makes this place a one and done restaurant in my opinion. Read more
Good enough dim sum with pretty fair price, BUT the service and environment is SUPERB!! The staffs are VERY polite, prompt and... helpful. Despite how quickly the place filled up, the service is extremely fast and the dim sum comes to you in rapid firingsuccession!! The oolong tea is nice and hot! Soft Cantonese and mandarin music playing softly in the back group in a space thatis bright, beautiful and very open! It is just a wonderful place to be. Now the dim sum left some to be desired. The food domesvery quick and they aren’t terrible, but I have certainly have better tasting dim sum in NY, SF or even Detroit. However theprice is reasonable so this isn’t a total lost. Would I come back? Yes, but I will also be trying other places first beforemaking this a “MUST” for my next visit. Read more
the food is so so good. there is so much good food to choose from and it all comes out within a reasonable, timely manner. the... place’s environment is also very nice and clean. the only problem is how busy it gets and the staff is always rushing. it’skind of understandable but sometimes the staff can tend to come off as rude because of how rushed they are. Very nice restaurant to go to if you are looking for Chinese. The atmosphere is nice. Food was amazing. Had some steamed pork... buns, fried rice, lots of shrimp, chicken, and beef. Everything was amazing, decor was very pleasing to the eye, large tableswith a turn table (to share the plethora of food you get). Staff was great, very attentive. Read more
Food in MingHin is always delicious. You can't go wrong. But service and seating quality is not the best. This location looks so... fancy and they really put thought into the decorations but it's a bit outdated and the chairs are all damaged and ripped. Tablesetting is pretty simple and I actually liked the fact that they have chopsticks and forks right of the bet on your plate. Theyalways serve hot herbal tea up front and it's very tasty. Our server was polite and helpful in ordering the food and answeringthe questions. Side note: they bring the food as soon as it is done so it might happen to be one dish at a time. This time weended up waiting 15 additional minutes for the nuddles after we got everything else. The manager was very professional and wouldcheck on us regularly. What I didn't really appreciate was the fact that we felt rushed into paying and leaving after we weredone eating. Our server even stuck her hand and tried to get the receipt from me while I was still filling in the tip for her.After that, we had 3 different people come by and just grab dishes of the table. Tried the dim sum and had a great experience. We used tablets to order our food. The tablet menus were fantastic with pictures... of each items and easy to see quantities. We explored a lot of different options and the food came out quickly. Read more
