I visited Chicago for the first time and just had to get a hot dog and my friend from there recommended Portillo's. I can't eat... meat anymore and have been craving a hot dog but was unable to find a good veggie dog in the store. So when I saw y'all had agarden dog I was so excited and I was not let down! Place was clean. Plenty of staff working to ensure service was quick. Food was pretty good. Good price. They just need to make... sure they are checking orders before sending them out. Busy restaurant but good food and we got great service from Gregory! He was very attentive and helpful. It was my family's first... trip here. We got a delicious chocolate cake on the house bc it was our first time there. That's nice of them and a well worthstop we made. Their bread for the burger and hotdogs was soft and delicious. An iconic place to try Chicago-style hotdogs. Very saucy and messy but very good. You order cafeteria style and pick up and sit... anywhere you like. Tried the Maxwell street Polish which was good but not memorable. The fries were nothing special. Veryfilling. Overall worth a try but not repeat. Read more
