don?t recommend putting reservations in they won?t even plan for it. had reservations for 9 of my family members for my birthday... and when we arrived on time, i was extremely disappointed when they told us they didn?t have room to sit us all together becausethere was a family of four already at the open table, so we had to split my family across the restaurant and half of my familywas served before us and finished eating before we even had our food cooked. the chef was very nice but i do not recommendreservations or going with a party over 4 or they will separate ur family. the point was to sit around and enjoy our food andenjoy each other?s company hard to do that when half of ur family is across the room. We came for our bdays the website said open at 1 so we wentat 1. But the door was lock. I called I'm like your closed? Yes... just carry out dining room opens at 4 430 I said well your website said 1pm and we just drove 45 miles to eat. The young mansaid. Oh ok I'll be right there. He let us in to eat and he gave us a great chef and meal. We thank you from the bottom of ourheart. We were really looking forward to eating there. Amazing place for Japanese food lovers. Huge place that can fit around 50 people at a time. Skilled chef, excellent staff, clean... grill and great service makes dining experience great. Sharing tables with random people provides good opportunity to knowdifferent people. All the walls of restaurant has picture of thousands of happy customers, that speaks about longevity andhospitality of the place. They have separate chairs for toddlers. Read more

My family and I were the first customers in there today. I don't know why these people are leaving bad reviews (the multiple one... star review from the same day) but they never stepped foot in this place while we were here. We've been a customer for almost 25 years. The food and the experience is as good now as it was in 1997. Thousands of... Polaroid-like photos of satisfied customers line the walls as a testament to their longevity. We had Mai Tais as starter drinksand they were of good size and strength. Wr followed up with the mandatory 20oz Sapporo beers for the meal. Service was quick,but not too quick as you want to enjoy the experience. The hibachi chef was skillful and very friendly. Food (we were a group of6) covered shrimp, scallops, steak and spicy chicken and all were great. Portion size was excellent ensuring a lot of leftovers.Sauces included ginger, horseradish and the absolutely essential yum yum sauce. Well worth a visit. Read more
