Meal reviews: Dad: beer, too much cheese burger sweet potato fries. Sweet potato fries were great. Beer reccomended by waitress... very good. Waitress was fantastic, too much cheese burger did not have too much cheese Daughter (11) Ceasars salad, beer cheesemac and cheese fries. It was all good. First time there. We had an appetizer and rib tip sliders. Both were excellent and those rib tips were melt in your mouth... delicious. Sat at the bar and the bar tender was very attentive and nice. Enjoyable experience and I'd go back again. Reasonably priced. Read more
I was looking for a venue to host a surprise proposal and reached out. Chris Pucci, Director of Operations, responded and was... more than excited to host the event. He was very responsive to emails. He was very accommodating when it came to the buffet foodmenu items. The semi-private event space on the right side of the building was able to host a party of 70 with no issues. I wasable to rent out the space all day long. The staff was amazing!! Staff did amazing with providing service at the bar and tables.Everyone enjoyed their service and energy. They were able to assist with moving tables and chairs to make room for the proposaldecorations. The proposal sign ended up being over 7ft high. My fiance loved it!! This could not have gone as well as it didwithout Chris and the amazing staff. I would recommend Spartan Ale House to everyone looking to host an event or just lookingfor a place for dinner. Amazing decor, facilities and service. A higher and restaurant and the prices reflect that as one would expect. My first time... here and sat on the outdoor patio. Two of us had chicken wings and boneless chicken. It certainly isn’t what they’re knownfor and honestly wasn’t worth the money. My family and I went for the first time tonight for Mother’s Day dinner. We were a little nervous after reading some of the... reviews, but overall we had a very positive experience! Our server, Mia, was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the cheesebrick appetizers and they were very good, nice and crispy. I got the chicken on a pita (pictured) with rice pilaf as my side andI loved it. The chicken was delicious, not overcooked or anything. My husband got the grilled cheese and liked it a lot - thefries were great, good flavor and crispy. My mom enjoyed her chicken kabobs. My brother got the fish and chips, he said theywere just okay. It was very nice inside, we loved the ambiance. Our one complaint was that for being an ale house, the on draftbeer selection was very basic - Miller Lite, Blue Moon, Stella, etc. Hope they can add more variety. Read more

The food was really good! So were the drinks. I really like the ambiance too. It's nice and big inside, and I liked the variety... of food they had for being a "sports bar". They were short staffed so we had to wait a bit, but I think that's just the newexpectation in going out to eat so just be patient ?? Read more

This place was crowded full to the brim & for that very reason, we had to waitfor about 30mins to be served. Not too many servers around— they seem to be understaffed. Our server Chrissy was friendly &the beer she recommended is our new favorite! ???? Greek flatbread was delicious/fresh, the side of fries tasted crisp outsidewhile tender inside.
