My wife and I have always had good meals here. If you like Italian this is a perfect place with great window views of Washington... and Chicago ave. I had the muscle linguine and my wife had the bass, both well made. Waitstaff are perfect. Read more
Very disappointed with the quality of food and service. We got a table for 2 outside, the only reason i give it 2 star because... all the worked are helpful and smile. They brought the drinks after 15-20 min, we were already half way through our apps. Thisis a huge red flag for me, and it was 4.30 pm so the restaurant wasn’t busy. The food was average, we love italian food, andnothing we tried was good. Drink were nothing special either. Will definitely not come back again. PS: look how brown is thesauce on the seafood griliata, this tastes nothing like it should be. Read more
It was a happy occasion that brought us to Rosebud in Naperville, our 20th anniversary! Our server, Joe C., was fabulous. He... seemed to know his wines and beers. I chose Pinot Grigio and was not disappointed. Having been there before, I ordered thegrigliato misto ( mixed seafood grill) it consisted of calamari, octopus and shrimp in a wonderful balsamic vinegar reduction.Exquisite!!! Hubby ordered the gnocchi Bolognese: perfetto! I ended my meal the true Roman way, with the house salad. We alsoordered the coconut cake- oh my gosh, Heaven. Phenomenal! I’m in town visiting and I can see why my friends brought me here straight from the airport! The service was... amazing (thank you, Margie!) and everything was so delicious. My dinner portion was so substantial it was plenty for lunch thenext day. Highly recommend! Read more

If you have the time take a drive to their Location on W Taylor St. theystill have the Touch!!! Rosebud’s has Always been a Special place for my wife and I as it was one of our first dates some 26years ago. With Covid I have been ordering my food to go. As a Long Time Customer I’ve grown accustom to a consistent greattasting meal. To put it nicely they have LOST their touch. I always order Veal Parmesan. The last 3 times I ordered my food thetomato sauce tasted like it had a entire stick of butter in it. It also had a Very Strong red win taste. I don’t ever rememberred wine being in the tomato sauce. Normally the veal is so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. It was a ruff piece ofmeet. My entire family was displeased with the 3 other dishes they ordered as well. To Be Honest I’m Sad and Disappointed!!!The only reason I kept going back was thinking It was just an off day. It’s not a Cheap Meal. I went to Rosebud’s not OliveGarden. When the Building Burnt down the New Location didn’t do the Rosebuds name justice. It lost its Romance and nostalgicfine Italian dining. The new location looks like your walking into a Denny’s, but at least at the time the food was good. MyFather who raised me was Fresh off the Boat Italian from Messina, Italy So Trust me I know Italian food. I’m still aRosebud’s Fan just not of the Naperville Location. With the Environment change and Food Tasting Horrible I have to Advice youto Pass, But Not on Rosebuds as a Whole.
