While on-site at the resort, dropped in for some dinner at the adjoining restaurant. Our server, Julie, was extremely helpful... walking us thru all the entrees. Top Sirloin was delicious (and at 16oz was way more than I could eat in one meal). Later inthe evening, stopped in at the bar, where we were treated to an evening of music with Hank and Bonnie (as well as a specialguest in a Reagan-Bush '84 hat). The music was a real treat and. Very nice restaurant in a good hotel. There's not many dining choices near the hotel, so having a decent one on site is great!

Super friendly staff and owner, and amazing food. The chef was trying a new vegetarian menu item, a cauliflower steak with... chimichurri sauce, which was exceptional, as were our appetizers and other entrees. Very generous portions. And make sure tocheck out all the cute fish. Read more

Best to prebook a table if you are staying at the hotel. They were busy, and they could do with more staff but we still had... great service. The food was well cooked although some options were off the menu. Would recommend. Read more

Hard to spot from the road, but once you step inside the resort and get into the restaurant, wow! We arrived at the beginning of... the dinner rush and felt it was the Cheers of Naples, the waitstaff knew everybody?s names! Great food, great service! A nice restaurant, service is quite good. Expect slightly higher than average prices for food. The menu has a few options but... the food is pretty good. Furthermore, the dessert is actually quite good. Having the brownie with ice cream is a good choiceand the ice cream tastes pretty good. French fries are homeade style, meaning they have the skin from the potatoes still on andare cut thin. Nice spot overal and is located within a hotel for the area. Read more

Have lived in the Port of the Islands community for 15 years and finally decided to try the Angler?s Cove Restaurant which is... located inside of the Port of the Islands Hotel. It was all very good, the pizza was delicious, the wings were prepared well(though the wing sauce known as ?hot? could be a bit hotter, the burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare and he blackenedgrouper was fresh and tasted great. All in all, was very surprised at how good it all was and will be ordering again. If theyoffered delivery (even if it was a $5 charge for 0.5 miles) to the POI community, it would get 6 stars!
