All the food was tasty, from pasta to seafood. Shrimp was exquisite. Service 100%.

Barbatella’s never disappoints.. it was a simple meal Pasta alla Norma (it was delicious) and a Regina Margarita pizza (I... asked for it well done but it needed another minute in the oven) with a nice Aperol Spritz! Slightly over priced but the foodwas fresh and good. Enjoy! Read more

Very good place and experience! Our server was top notch. The restaurant was busy and we were smooshed into an outside table... (our request) and none of that was a problem. The food was very good. We had the calamari, pizza, salmon, puttanesca pasta. The meal was excellent. Definitely a repeat adventure. Read more

We came here for new years when it was really crowded but the waitress was super nice and not rushed at all. The Arancini,... risotto balls were fried to a beautiful perfection, but the risotto inside wasn't exactly al dente. The casarecce was adifferent kind of pasta I haven't tried, and I completely fell in love. It was the perfect texture and the sauce was liketasting the ocean and fresh tomatoes blended into one. The veal parmigiana was so tender and we had a special white trufflepasta dish, which had a mild buttery sauce to bring out the truffles. This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants I'vehad in a while since going to Italy. Read more

Visiting Naples and walking around probably I would suggest not to pick the first place like we did looking at the reviews.... Place itself is nice, big, with seating outside near the fountain and inside. Service isn't welcoming from the firstimpression. We had to wait till the administrator finishes her phone call for 5 min. There was no one else to assist. Table wasset quickly, but service is slow. From the moment the order was placed it didn't take long. One order was lost and they fixedit. Not too many vegetarian healthy options with no pasta or not fried, but at least they told me what they can do and whatcan't. Lunch many is quite limited. Out of courses all pizza was the best option. Crunchy and thin crust as we asked. Pizzacomes in one size not large. Sandwiches are huge, kids liked them, but only with white bread and don't come with a side ofanything. Salmon was ok on top of salad and bursts but nothing special for $29. Vinegar and olive oil on the table helpedto make it to some taste. Overall I think a good place for Italian thin crust pizza lovers. But if you are traveling and seekfor a delicious, authentic, savoring food experience and enjoyment, this is the place to fuel hunger. Read more

We had last dinner here on Friday, August 6, 2021 before we left Naples the following day. Not quite too sure why there are... other reviews complaining about taste and portion size as everything is very similar to what we had experienced when we visitedFirenze, Italia a couple of times. Anyways, for an appetizer we ordered the arancini that was fried to a perfect golden orb thatwas gently placed on top of a delicious, truffle cream sauce. For entrees, I ordered the linguine vongole and my husband had thebucatini. Both pastas were cooked to al dente perfection with the linguine that enrobed the meaty clams that still burst ofbrininess and the bucatini hit every savory note carbonara style. For dessert we ordered espresso and the siciliana Italiansundae “coppe speciali” that took you on a flavor tour of Italia with layers of hazelnut gelato and pistachio gelato toppedwith Sicily’s best known dessert, a cannoli that had orange essence in it. I loved Barbatella’s interpretation of theseasonal foods and flavors that one will experience in the different regions of Italia and if you are in Naples, FL this oneshould be on the list to dine at. The pizza here is very good, and worth going back for. The service itself left a lot to be desired, super slow and some pizzas... were brought out 20 minutes before others. Leopard spots on the bottom, high heat in a traditional Italian oven. One of ourorders was wrong, but they fixed it no problem, unfortunately that took another 20 minutes, they were not busy during this time.Luckily the food was so good I'd go back regardless. Read more
