Love visiting while in Florida. My mom and I clearly like different foods!

I'll start this review by saying that I grew up in Columbus Ohio, not far from the original Bob Evans farm, so I am quite... familiar with the original service, food, and amenities of Bob Evans restaurants. The food is overpriced and quite frankly itwas bad. My whole wheat toast had an off-putting smell, along with artificial margarine on it. The sausage is not at all likethe original recipe. They private label their ketchup, which is bad and has high fructose corn syrup in it. I got the rise andshine breakfast for $9.19 which includes your choice of meat, eggs, potatoes, and toast. For $12.69 you can get the whole hog, which has sausage patties, sausage links, bacon, country ham, a pancake, French toast, and potatoes. So for an extra $3.50 youcan get bacon, sausage links, country ham, French toast, and a pancake. You figure it out. This chain was starting to declinewhen I left Columbus in 2017 and it hasn't improved at all, and in fact, has gone downhill even further. This is one of the fewtimes in my life when I have not finished a breakfast because of the food quality. Read more

Great breakfast. We have never had a bad meal at any Bob Evans. We arrived during the lunch hour rush. We were seated... immediately. They had a dedicated hostess and cashier. We even had two servers. Plenty of working at this location. Food wasgood as usual. It was a pleasant experience. Read more

While the food has normally been good the service is suffering. After a brief wait I was shown a table with syrup on it. The... hostess offered to bring me a drink while I wait on.my server. She brought me a cloudy liquid that looked like coffee with milk,I ordered sweet tea. After waiting 10 minutes and no server coming to my table I left. And no I did not drink the cloudy "tea". Stopped for a quick lunch. Love the chicken noodle soup. Excellent service by my server, Kathy. She looked to be the only... server on this day and was efficient, friendly, and organized. Every restaurant needs someone like her. Note that the locationis worth visiting but not readily visible from the road. Sits back in a group of buildings. Read more
