Where’s the big black X and map emoji when you need it because this is just the type of cozy restaurant where you could find... buried treasure...I mean fresh, local artisan seafood...and we did! Well, mark it with ??or ????or ???? since you will not bedisappointed. The New England Clam Chowder (caps sic) was entirely its own thing, not trad white or red, but blush, flush withtexture and subtle flavors. Scallops were perfectly seared, and the “grits” were also a break with tradition in theircareful balance of creaminess and zip. Cap the whole thing with a grigio and you are ready to be marinated yourself. My onlybeef with this area is that people dine too early, and by 9:30, they were stacking furniture and ready to go, so when in Naplesdine early for that total relaxing effect to kick in. Read more
