I?m giving 4 stars cause I like John Kruk. If it were not for him it would be a 3 star review. I?m from Pennsylvania so I?ve had... my fair share of cheesesteaks in my day. I got The Kruker which is just a cheesesteak with onions, mayonnaise and ketchup. Hadto ask what?s on it cause the menu board doesn?t say. Here?s my two cents on this cheesesteak: 1. Good quality meat in thesandwich, but way too skimpy on how much was in the bun. Either add more more meat or use a smaller bun and drop the price from$12.50 ???? 2. Flavor was great but as others have mentioned it was a little too greasy. 3. I think they get the rolls fromPhiladelphia to keep it authentic but again as others have mentioned the roll tasted a little stale and hard to chew. If thiswas a $7 cheesesteak I?d keep my comments to myself but at $12.50 I expected better from a place that ?specializes? incheesesteaks. Fries were spot on. Cooked perfectly and had great taste. $5.25 for a serving and it will feed two people. At$2.79 for a fountain drink (Coke products) it should come with an autographed John Kruk baseball card ???? We went on Sundayand received 25% off our bill so that was a nice surprise. We didn?t have to mention anything, the girl behind the counter toldus we would receive the discount. Must be a Sunday special. Would like to see a combo meal on the menu for a sandwich , friesand a drink. Service was good from the younger staff behind the counter. One suggestion though would be to bring all the food tothe table at once instead of one cheesesteak at a time followed up with our fries. Store was clean with some Philliesmemorabilia scattered about but it definitely could use a little more Philadelphia decorations to support the name of thisplace. Maybe have a TV playing the 1980, 1993, 2008 or 2009 World Series the Phillies were in. This place has potential. Justneeds some minor improvements if it?s going to last a bunch of years. Read more

As a guy from Philly who was raised on steak sandwiches, I was looking forward to eating a genuine Philadelphia cheese steak... here in Naples. I was very disappointed with Kruk's. I have gone there several times, hoping that each experience would bebetter. Unfortunately, these sandwiches are nothing like the ones that I grew up with. The sandwiches are way too greasy, withgrease dripping everywhere. The rolls are soft and soggy, soaked in the same grease. And the overall taste is just not as itshould be. I have enjoyed wonderful steak sandwiches on Florida's east coast, but I just haven't found the real thing here yet. Read more
Great place overall. The cheeseburger was excellent and so were the fries. The cheeseteak was just fine, though that could be... because I chose to have a plain one. Staff is very nice and helped me when I had no idea what to order. Would come back again! Read more
