Out and about on 5th Avenue again and it was time for dessert. Now I have reviewed a few other place along 5th and they all have... their own uniques style. Well Mitch's Cookie does not disappoint in this area as well. They have a large variety of flavors fromlocal Royal Scoop Ice Cream. Milkshakes, cones and what I consider their signature dessert ice cream sandwiches. Of course don'tforget you can buy just the cookie if you want to as well. They have a whole display of the variety of flavors. Too many toname, but I know I'll be back to try a few of them individually. (with a huge glass of whole milk of course) WOW, the ice creamsandwiches looked amazing but I needed a little more. I went with the Cookie Sundae- this is a complete treat. You get to pickany cookie flavor from the shelf. They then unwrap it, pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to heat it up, put a nicehealthy helping of your ice cream flavor of choice on top , then you can add hot fudge, chocolate sauce, whipped cream or ahandful of other toppings. I was in heaven and am glad I was walking afterwards because my body was on a sweet high from thetastiest of flavors of the cookie, ice cream and fudge all melting together in the bowl.YUMMY! Royal Scoop Ice cream is thereal deal. I had the Fudge Brownie and combined it with a Snickerdoodle cookie. Thanks to Polly, the amazing employees, whorecommended the combo. I also can not forget to mention the size of the cookie. It was about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick in the centerand about 3-4" in diameter. It was huge. My next visit I am going for the ice cream cookie sandwich, no doubt. Make this oneof your go to dessert stops when visiting Naples. Read more
