Considering the exemplary ratings I was disappointed in the food I ordered at NAMBA. Although presented nicely I found the Ramen... tasting as though it had been reheated. Even the typically delicious pork slices were tough and had an off taste. I could noteat it due to the aftertaste. However, the spicy tuna roll was excellent and had a nice clean and refreshing after taste. Myonly complaint with the tuna roll was the lack of tuna itself. I understand that we are experiencing inflation but I am morethan willing to pay for a more robust roll. The service was outstanding; with the waitstaff being attentive but it was almost toa fault. I understand that they need to move parties through quickly as NAMBA is a small venue-but I didn't like the feeling ofbeing rushed. ( regardless of the 10 minute window to slurp your Ramen).This will not be my last visit to NAMBA as I trulybelieve they do have attention to detail for the fragrant foods they offer. Not one thing at Namba was bad, everything was outstanding. The pork belly bao buns were so delicious and the sauce with it was... to die for. The spicy tuna crispy rice was absolutely amazing. Me and my family ordered two orders and finished every single oneand even ordered two more to go to take home for later. The ramen is outstanding, super fresh and great portions. I recommendadding the Namba butter it?s delicious and the fried red onion. Me and my mom got the Hakata classic ramen. My dad would notstop stealing bfrom my moms and almost ordered his own but was simply too full. After all that food, we also ordered the greentea crème brûlée for desert. I?m not a dessert person but this was one of the best creme brûlées and just desserts ingeneral I?ve ever had. Lastly, my mom kept seeing a delicious looking fried dish being ordered by everyone and HAD to have itto go as well. It was the Karaage chicken. We just finished it which prompted me to write this review! So yummy and crispy andsauce was delightful. On top of the absolutely amazing food, service was impeccable! We were greeted with a friendly demeanorthe second we walked in the door. Our server was on top of everything and even double checked if my spicy tuna rice had come ywtright before it did because he knew I should?ve gotten it around that time. Shows a server on top of stuff. Also not even ourserver. The whole wait staff was on top of everything, as various members would assist in filling Our water constantly, clearingout dishes. When we were waiting for the crème brûlée another waiter came up and asked if we were waiting for our check tomake sure we weren?t being forgotten about. After being told about this place several times, we finally tried it out. It was awesome! It's a cozy but bright & well... decorated little place. We were seated at the sushi bar and got to watch the masters of the art make a wild amount of rolls inthe hour we sat there. Went for the classic and vegan ramen options and both were stellar. Don?t be fooled by the façade: this is an amazing restaurant. I did not have high expectations for strip mall sushi, but they... did a great job with the setting. The service was also amazing?our waitress was constantly moving about and tending to everyoneoften. The food was incredible. The Wagyu Gyoza was deeply flavorful, and the Tuna Crispy Rice cakes were delicious. I LOVED thesalmon maki. I never knew tamago and salmon could go so well together. The Hokkaido ramen was also incredible, with a richbroth. We were blown away by the green tea crème brûlée (despite liking neither green tea nor brûlée, my guest devouredit). More amazing still?
