Used to come here a handful of times a summer . Ordered pickup for the first time, and it sucked. $50 for burned coconut shrimp... and they forgot the sauce, a burger with Burned gross fires and a Chicken Cesar wrap ( warm cooked lettuce) yuck. Great food and friendly and helpful staff even when you get here late on a weekday to eat. Stopped by for lunch and was amazing... VETERAN owned and operated. I cannot recommend enough for their catering services, Josh & his wife absolutely out did themselves for our wedding. Food was... hot & the brisket and pulled pork was definitely the crowd favorite, plenty of left overs for the late night snacks, so manyoptions and such a great price point. My wife loves their lobster rolls?but ordering take out has been a challenge. The only current menu is on Facebook (which we... don?t have). All other menus online were outdated. Although the staff was polite, they were young and couldn?t communicate theirofferings. It made what should have been a simple order a frustrating ordeal. Read more
Tried to eat here on a Wednesday night. Told it was an hour wait (no problem!, we?re locals, we can wait) only to check in at an... hour and being told they won?t have a seat for us at all because they sat small groups at large tables. Had they been up frontwith us about this no problem, but they made us wait an hour - with a 20 month old in tow. Front end staff/hostess? need to betrained better, we understand being short staffed but they need to be warning folks of this beforehand. Read more
Great beer selection. They've changed the menu since the last time I was here and I was disappointed. Just to be safe I ordered... a burger which was pretty good but the onion rings were heavily battered and greasy. Clam chowder was tasty but not very clammy. Fried shrimp appetizer was overcooked. The menu is heavy on BBQ now. Not as good as I remembered it to be. the server was superand very friendly. Read more
We ordered a clam plate and a scallop plate. Partner and I usually go to Bay Haven in Cornish and get the MASSIVE Fisherman's... Platter for ~$40. His scallop plate at The Galley had 7 scallops and cost $39 (price in menu "market"-- so no price). Clam platewas okay, but $30. Don't go if you are hoping for affordability and a doggy bag. Read more
