I tried the shawarma. Good food. Grate service. Nice place. Excellent value
Really delicious food at a great price. The outdoor seating is so nice. All that said the next part is a long time coming but... things need to change. Portions are always a good size but they keep changing their recipes (or at least how they turn out) andtheir dishes. The service has been a problem this past year. The man behind the counter often takes his time putting the ordersin a bag and will skip over the order if someone new walks in to order. I have had to wait for too long while my order was rightnext to him because he was either trying to talk to me or helping a new customer. Each time this has happened, I called inadvance and told them that I'm in a hurry and my takeout order should be ready when I arrive. 15 minutes after the time theysaid the order would be ready, I'm still waiting for this employee to pay attention to what he's doing, put my food in the bag,and take my money. They need to be transparent about when they are open and not just post on Facebook while meanwhile googleand elsewhere says they are open. Today was the last straw as I bit into a pizza empenada that was entirely empty (picincluded). Unfortunately we are going to have to take a break from this restaurant as much as we don't want to. My husband and I placed a catering order with Nana's for our small wedding. We are new to the area and are thrilled with how our... wedding meal turned out. Gladys was so responsive with my request and the communication was excellent. Our families wereimpressed with the spread- we had the mac & cheese, empanadas, vegetarian chili & cornbread, Nana's salad, and dessert sampler.Everyone had a different favorite and our only regret was not ordering more cornbread! Service was efficient and pleasant. Almost all the people who came in while we were there came to pick up orders. We had the... restaurant to ourselves; a benefit of Covid. The food was excellent. My wife and I had two different soups; both were very good.We also ordered two mains--which we shared--which were delicious. We highly recommend Nanas Kitchen & Catering. We look forwardto dining there again during our next trip to Philadelphia. Read more
Absolutely the best vegan chili ever! Love the french fries and green smoothie. Had crayons and I made a color on-
We happened to be walking by and happened to see their sign that read homemade soups. On the way back to the car decided to... check it out. Butternut squash, lentil and chili. All were excellent. The lentil soup was thick and tasty. The chili had justthe right touch of heat. The butternut squash was also outstanding. We also sampled the falafel & tehina (very good &fresh). Nana's is Kosher vegan, vegetarian, and prescetarian restaurant. Every item on the menu is labeled P (parve), VG(vegan), V (vegetarian), GF (gluten-free), or D (dairy). It's a small place with limited eat-in seating and excellent food.Give it a try. Read more

I stopped by Nanas for lunch one day and tried the veggie shawarma platter?it was sooo delicious. Very fresh and tasty!
