I discovered California Burrito about a year and a half ago and ever since then me and my wife go once a week. the food is... always fresh and the service is the best! To preface, I am a Chipotle fanboy, but I definitely think California Burrito is different in a good way. The ingredients are... fresher and the meat (I got Carnitas) is better cooked. The only reason I didn?t give it 5 stars is because for as good as itis, the burrito I got from here was smaller than the burritos I?ve gotten from pretty much every other restaurant I?ve ever gonetoo. I feel like I was eating a lot of tortilla and not enough ingredients. I would still recommend it, but if you?re used tolarge burritos, one of these might leave you wanting more. The place had some parking in the back but probably not enough forbusy hours of the day. I went at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday night and there was only a couple free spots. I was happy to see only acouple other people in front of me in line as I was starving. The guy who served me was super friendly and didn?t stop smiling. Read more
The food was wonderful and I definitely will visit again. I had the carne asada fries and it was a perfect combination of... protein and carbohydrates! The salsa was very fresh. The only thing I didn?t like was there was no menu and only later theyrealized the monitors were not showing the menu properly. It was very difficult for the first time visit to order without amenu. Pupusas were on point. Staff was quick and friendly. Very clean location. Pricing is more than fair. Perfect lunch spot.
