If you Bostonians ever fancy to come up to Nashua for whatever reason—for us, it was a haunted house on the Halloween... weekend—you might enjoy stopping by this restaurant. Cost is $$$—but come on, you already spend the time to get outhere—and their pricing is pretty reasonable for a Boston standard. We group of 4 had a full meal, from 4 drinks, 2 appetizers,to 4 entrées and 2 desserts, it was $80 per person inclusive of tax and a 20% tip. The taste is superb, and seafoods areundoubtedly fresh. They have an Asian-fusion inspired menu, so we tried the warm lobster sushi. DELICIOSO! Certainly, theirPortuguese Stew is renowned, and you can tell from my picture that 3 out of 4 of us got that. Lobster Kristina (BTW, Kristinais just the owner’s daughter’s name) is creamy and tasty too, but if you’re a big eater, this healthy, balanced meal mightnot be enough for you. My boyfriend ended up finishing the other half of my Portuguese Stew. In a word, this is a place thatI’d return if I’m ever in the area again. They do get bustling busy on peak hours, so either be sure to book ahead or goearly. :) And if you’re the owner reading this, our server Jackie is great! Read more

Okay. The reviews of this place are so phenomenal that I was so excited and looking forward to a great sushi dinner. It was a... Tuesday evening but packed and hopping. Service was okay—fine, and the restaurant itself is fine in terms of ambiance andcleanliness, etc. The issue I have is with the food and even more so with the menu descriptions—or lack thereof, of both. Iwas looking at the rolls and not enticed by the descriptions, personally—I saw plain sashimi and would have just gone withthat and been happy, however, I saw a menu description for a ‘raw sampler’. The sampler was $26 per person and it statedthat it included only one oyster, one clam and one king crab leg—that’s fine, sure, for one person at that price. It alsostated that it included tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi, a shrimp cocktail, pastrami smoked salmon, tuna poke, a couple otherminor things and a seaweed salad. I thought that sounded like a great assortment, right? Now for the reality— the ‘shrimpcocktail’ was one—that’s one—shrimp. The tuna and salmon ‘sashimi’—that was one—one—piece of each. The kingcrab leg was a tiny, maybe a quarter, if even, piece of a leg. Everything else was equally as minuscule of a portion and not theslightest bit outstanding in any way. The tuna poke was really the only saving grace of the whole thing. TBH the only reason Idid not send it back on sight was pure shock. Disappointed doesn’t and can’t even scratch my feelings for describing how Ifelt and feel about that meal and experience. If it had stated, like it did for the oyster and the clam that it was only onepiece each of the tuna and salmon and shrimp, and that it’s only a portion of king crab leg, then I have the information Ineed to make an informed decision. I felt caught off guard/tricked/scammed; those are not nice feelings to come away from a mealwith, in addition to being still hungry. I scrolled down after leaving my review and saw Robert Lee’s review just a coupleahead of mine—that sums it Read more

Another favorite in Nashua! If I lived here, I would be a glutton eating and drinking too much. See the pictures for... descriptions. Surf is pricey but I enjoyed it all. Read more

This place came highly recommended by several locals. I have to say this was some of the best seafood I have ever eaten. The... scallops were so soft they were like little pillows of meat. Awesome! Read more

We went back again. Same great experience. The food was phenomenal! This place is a must of you want great seafood. There is no... where better in the area. Parking is a bit rough but you can park in the Santander bank lot after hours. When you walk in thisplace is buzzing with energy. There are no reservations so you have to wait. It's not unheard of to have to wait an hour foryour table but they will serve drinks while you wait! One you are seated the staff never disappoint. The raw bar has amazingoysters and a great twist on sushi. Every dish from the main menu is phenomenal. My favorite is the surf and turf or thePortuguese stew. The drinks are delightful and strong. It is pricey but worth it. You must go hear if you love seafood. Read more

Had dinner, or tried to, tonight. Sat down at 6:15pm, left at 7:45pm with no dinner. Had 2 Dragon rolls, it's OK. Very expensive... ($18) for basic spicy tuna w/tempura crunch, see pic. Very average, bummer if you're a sushi aficionado. People were giving ravereviews about the sushi, but if you know about sushi you will be very disappointed. Checked out the sushi case, should havetaken pics, not impressed at all. Hamachi looked a lil brown, no bluefin, maguro was meh, not many choices for fish. Salmonwasn't cured in salt or vinegar washed sushi style, just plain salmon. Tuna was pink, not a bright red. Didn't see any Uni,Tamago, Ika, mackerel, and etc. Sushi rice was bland, sushi is all about the rice and good fish(I didn't say fresh as all sushifish is flash frozen, anyone telling you otherwise is wrong). Maybe I'm being too hard on them as I've owned 2 restaurants in mylife and my father was a sushi chef for over 40 years in Japan, but I've had better in NH at some Chinese places. Ordered awatered down expresso Martini, came out too strong. Wife doesn't drink much. Ordered atlantic haddock, never received it. Hadto ask manager to take it off my bill. Clam chowder flavor was good, a lil too salty but cornstarch was used to thicken insteadof a rue, so it became watery. Oysters on the half shell was the best, champagne mignonette was good, cocktail sauce is cannedor bottled. Smoked trout and smoked salmon was good. Service was just average, new waitress? She or the kitchen forgot aboutmy dinner, never offered to make things right, basically just ok. Layout of restaurant is open style with a bar off to theside. Overall, an okay place for drinks and some appetizers. Don't expect much for sushi, very disappointing. Can't tell youhow the entrée is, never received it. Ambiance is meh, Buckleys in merrimack, part of their group is better. Over priced on alot of their menu items, decent prices on a lot of their menu items. Dinner came to $135 for 2 with n Read more
